"We had a good stay at the Sloop Inn.
Lovely friendly staff.
The best breakfast.
The property is a little dated, and the bed isn't the most comfortable, but it was all good for a one-night stay. Would recommend."

"Parking was great. Food was excellent but we had a long wait for our dinner as there was only one chef on duty. He did his very best. All the staff were friendly and helpful.
Would definitely stay there again. "

"Booked a long weekend for my wife and I.
Very easy to get to from junction 14 on the m5 (only 5 minutes).
Tortworth Court is well worthy to be a part of the De Vere chain of hotels, it's so exquisite and unique and has been brought upto a standard for everyone to admire.
All the staff were very freindly and professional from check in to check out.
features like the Library Bar and the Atrium Bar blew us away with decor and lighting and a vast selection of beverages and food.
We stayed in the Gilbert Room 22 which is in the main building at the top of a long sweeping staircase.
Outside the building the gardens are to be admired and the upkeep is spotless.
To all the staff, you made it such a memorable weekend and we shall be returning."
"Great hotel, beautiful building. Appreciating the hotel is family owned, it could do with a little modern tlc TV didn’t work in the bedroom for channels 1-4.
Extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work, towels are quite old,
Check your dinner bill, we had 3 bottles of wine added to the bill but we’d only had 1 £25 bottle. We were being charged for 2 x £45 bottles we’d not had.
When we called to get the tv satellite sorted in our bedroom it was the waiter and head waiter who attended our room #faultytowers
Could be 5* but I’m reluctant to give it more than 3*,
£200 for 1 night without breakfast is expensive for mother and daughter aged 83 & 52.
We’ll shop around n xx time."
"Beautifully clean, large room, however, we stayed during the bank holiday heatwave and the air con wasn't working. A portable air con unit had been placed in the room but wasn’t enough for such a large space. Unable to open windows, so had a sleepless night due to the unbearable heat.
Huge room, great shower and very comfortable bed.
We also stayed for breakfast which was amazing!
Beautiful hotel just a shame that we chose a boiling hot weekend to stay."
"Under new group and nothing like when it was a Best Western. The Spa pool was still out of order. We were there in October and it was broken. There was not the warm and friendly feel we’ve received for the last six years. It was very false. I’m not worried about fresh linen in my room, totally agree with only on request, but a clean cup and glass and tea etc being replenished would have been very welcomed. Not the same hotel and won’t be returning."
