"We stayed here for our elopement, great location. Clean and quiet and comfortable. Will probably be our go to every time we are back in SF."

"Black mold. Like everywhere. Elevator also doesn't seem to have been inspected since 2013. Broken level 4 button. Location is phenomenal, the staff was super kind and helpful, but the room itself (which, for the price, is what it is) was stinky and exceptionally moldy. The floor had this strange waxy residue on it, almost requiring you to wear socks lest you track something into the bed. Surprisingly the bed was fine, didn't seem to have any stains or smells. Shower/sink did their jobs, water was hot, soap and shampoo was provided as were linens, which were clean(?, had little black spots on the main large towels but otherwise fine enough). Main point: if you need quick and cheap access to the Tenderloin and some fun areas of SF, it is a reasonable price. No A/C, which is fine. Windows open with no screen and let some cool air in when needed. Don't expect anything super nice. It is a place to lay your head during a quick stay."

"An upscale hotel in many regards. Checkin was difficult. It was not a friendly experience for me. The bed and shower were luxurious. The bathroom huge. Enjoyed my stay, even when I heard the couple next door going at it for hours. There was an extra $20 charge not disclosed before booking the room. "

"Great location if you need to be downtown. We were there for two nights for a show at Bill Graham and it was great walking to everywhere. Only thing I would have changed is that the “view” that I paid extra for was not viewable from anywhere in the room except the bathroom. Plus the room was quite tiny. Other than that, positive experience. "

"So this place has a certain charm about it. If you think “music” or “music industry” this place screams it. I can’t begin to rave about the guys at the front desk enough. They are AWESOME! They offered tons of information, and insight to the neighborhood."
