Our stay was exceptional. Karen, Jonathan and Lucy made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and attention to detail was amazing . Our room overlooking the sea was delightful and the breakfast was delicious and beautifully cooked.

This delightful B&B truly exceeded my expectations. The room was spotlessly clean, creating a refreshing and welcoming atmosphere. The bathroom, equally immaculate, boasted modern amenities that added to the comfort of my stay. The communal room was a highlight, exuding a warm, homely vibe, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. It was a cosy space that encouraged friendly interactions among guests. However, the heart and soul of this B&B was undoubtedly the host, Jonathan. His friendly demeanour and eagerness to help made the experience exceptionally pleasant. Jonathan and the rest of the staff went above and beyond in providing tips and insights about the local area, which enhanced my visit significantly. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their guests' comfort made my stay memorable. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone seeking a comfortable, clean, and friendly place to stay. Home away from Home.

Truly excellent!
One of the best presented hotels we have ever stayed in. Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Breakfasts are really excellent. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and the owners themselves take great care to ensure their guests are very well looked after during their stay. Jonathan and Karen are wonderful hosts. We shall certainly stay here again when we next visit Weymouth.

Great situation on the sea front, very well decorated and clean and tidy. The owners and staff were all very helpful, attentive and friendly. Lovely breakfast and great selection. Comfortable bed and well equipped room. Highly recommended.

We had a very lovely stay at the Gloucester Hotel. The service was attentive, the room was great and the breakfast, well what can I say it was fabulous. Highly recommend and will be visiting again!

Perfect location directly across from the beach. We were able to find street parking. John was a wonderful host. Excellent breakfast. The room is cozy. We had the balcony room so it was ideal for us. Very clean and freshly decorated. Thank you John for a wonderful visit to your beautiful hotel.

Absolutely wonderful B&B. I can not fault any aspect of our stay at Gloucester House. This is a top end B&B...you pay a little more but its worth every penny.

Amazing experience!
We had a wonderful time. I highly recommend Gloucester House. We were warmly greeted by the owners Jonathan and Karen and our luggage was carried to our room. The hotel room was exactly like the photo! Extremely well presented and comfortable room. We stayed in room 4 and the sea view is lovely. You can even sit on the balcony and watch the world go by and watch the sunrise over the sea. The entire hotel is beautifully decorated. The lounge with sea view and breakfast room are lovely. The breakfast was delicious, cooked to order and the service was great. Polite and friendly staff. The buffet breakfast (fresh juices selection, croissants, fruit, yogurt and cereals selection among other things) was delicious and beautifully presented and after that we ordered a hot breakfast. The quality of the food was excellent, fresh and very tasty. I visited on my 40th birthday and Jonathan and Karen kindly surprised me with a card and chocolates at breakfast. It was so thoughtful and a lovely way to begin my birthday celebrations. I hope to return again in the future.

5 star rating!
We had such a comfortable stay at Gloucester House. Jonathan and Karen were so welcoming and they look after their guest very well. Breakfast service was so good and delicious! The staff are lovely too! The place is kept immaculately. We will definitely be back whenever we come down to Dorset next. Highly recommend your stay here. Parking did not cost much either it's literally round the corner and less than 400m walk. Thank you for having us!

We highly recommend Gloucester House! Our stay was perfect. The owners Jonathan & Karen are friendly, on hand at all times and great for advice. The rest of the staff at Gloucester House are also amazing! They took the time to know who everyone was that was staying and also were genuinely interested in our plans for the day & whether we had a nice day the day before. The breakfast was the best we have ever had in terms of variety & quality at any B&B or hotel in the UK. The location was perfect and we parked easily in the carpark behind the B&B. We stayed in a ‘Small Room’ at the top of the B&B. It was fine for us as we just slept in the room & didn’t need to spend much time inside. We will say that the room would be quite small for anyone with mobility issues, so just something to be aware of. All in all, we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Loved our 2 night break . GH was tastefully furnished , exceptionally clean and very well maintained . Lots of thought has been put into guest’s well being . We were welcomed into a beautiful large guest lounge by Karen & Jonathan our hosts , and given all relevant information . Breakfast was cooked to perfection, good menu , genuinely kind , friendly , helpful staff . Would love to visit again .

We (with my two boys 9&7) stayed at Gloucester House for two nights. I don’t normally leave reviews but in this case with Jonathan and his staff being just fantastic I needed to. When we arrived Jonathan and his wife greeted us at the front door and welcomed us in. The location is perfect and right across from the beach front which my boys loved! The hotel was exceptionally clean and well presented and you could tell that this isn’t just a business but a real passion! The breakfast was excellent with all the food being hot and consistent, which you don’t normally see or receive elsewhere. The room for the 3 of us was perfect and the boys loved the hot chocolates!! All the soaps and shampoos were also of a high quality (I know it’s a small thing but makes difference). All the staff were friendly and chatty, again which you don’t find everywhere. All in all we came away from our stay with an incredibly positive view and we will 100% be staying again…brilliant!!!
