Great location. Spacious room with loft. Big fridge. Friendly staff. Loooove the wooden table by the window.
Just wish there were thicker blinds for the triangle windows that are too high to be reached. There are beautiful lights on the trees outside, unfortunately the light came through the triangle windows and made it too bright to sleep, for someone like me who doesn't like to wear eye masks...

Room description is misleading, they have 2 room-Studio, one has kitchen other does not. A suite by definition includes a kitchen, which is what I was expecting.
That costs me lots of extra money as I had to buy food and waste the food I had bought to cook.
The room was dark with all the lights on which meant I wasn’t able to read my book.
Staff were friendly even though they are quick to point out it is not a hotel, each room is individually owned.
Poorly insulated walls, very easy to hear stuff going on in the next room. Expensive for what it is.

Very close to Whistler tourist areas and was easily walkable to shopping and great restaurants.
The pool was unavailable due to construction which we weren't made aware of until we checked in. Heating is available but only windows and standing fan provided. We had a slight issue with the room passcode but were able to resolve it after a few minutes with their call centre.
Older property cabinets are broken in bathroom patched holes in drywall all photos suggested we were getting a kitchen but there wasn’t even air conditioning. It was very inexpensive but not a great summer location
Nice, clean suite with full kitchen, loft bedroom and second separate bedroom.
Main disappointment with the place was that there were a couple maintenance issues; the biggest being a loose cabinet panel in the bathroom that fell off and injured my Grandma's foot. Hoping this gets fixed so noone else gets hurt.
Also a bit disappointed to find out the pool and hot tub courtyard area was all closed and under construction, as these amenities looked enticing from the pictures advertised.

The extremely dim lighting in room 341 did not prevent us from seeing the ceiling fan dangling askew over the table, the stained lampshades, the dirty carpeting, the dinged walls, the old furniture and the rusty shower pole. Why is there a queen bed in a large bedroom? Why? Doesn’t look like the owners have been here since 1995. The hallways were so dark we had to use a flashlight to enter the door code. Long in the tooth. Was nice once, but has not been maintained. Grim.

Dishwasher not working and Fan is very dirty.. counter top, plates and glassess smells.
I had a mixed experience at Glacier Lodge Hotel. While the room was adequate, the stay was significantly impacted by constant construction noise. There was active work happening directly outside my window from early in the morning, and the sound was so loud it was impossible to ignore. What was most frustrating was that I was never notified about the construction prior to my arrival. A simple heads-up would have been appreciated, as it would have allowed me to make a more informed decision about my stay. Unfortunately, the noise made it difficult to get any rest.
When I booked, it was said that it was a queen bed, but in reality it was a double bed. No matter how many times I called and asked to change my room or give us an extra bed, they refused. In the end, one of us slept on the couch. The refrigerator was so loud that it wouldn't let us sleep, and in the end, we didn't sleep well at all. I had booked for 3 nights and cancelled the last night due to the bad condition of the room. It was $187 per night, but I was told that we would refund $140, and I'm still waiting for this money to be returned to my account.
We have already spoken to Vacassa and are awaiting a partial refund. We have stayed at the Glacier Lodge probably 10 times and have always been happy. The room we were in was not acceptable. Between rat traps, ripped sheets, one roll of toilet paper for a week, extra fireplace left in a corner, 4 hangers etc. This room needs a huge renovation and some tlc.
It is has been a year that this property is under renovation … the rooms at ground floor were not clean, fly came out of a towel…

The suite was cute and a good layout, towels were very clean, linens were crisp and fresh. Furniture was nice too. But with no AC and only 4 small windows with no air flow and no screens it was very very hot and stuffy. They did bring us two more fans which made it bearable but not comfortable. Also, the dishwasher was broken so that was difficult. The whole place could use a refresh. I would t recommend for a summer stay but in winter it would probably be very cozy.

Easy access and conveniently close to everything.
Check in and out was a breeze with the pleasant and helpful front desk staff. The underground parking was convenient as was the free and secure ski storage at the rental shop just off the lobby. Easy to pick-up the skis for the short walk to the gondola. Everything was clean with lots of conveniently placed sanitizers. They also have self opening doors to and from the garage which makes it convenient when you're loaded down with gear. Felt very safe during our stay.
I took off a few points for the fact that we couldn't get the room's phone or DVD player to work, and the room door wouldn't lock when we wanted to go out for dinner. I managed to fix the door lock myself but not until 20 min. after going to the front desk and eventually being told that service calls aren't possible during covid if you're already in the room. They graciously offered to upgrade us to another room but I'd fixed the door by that point. Lesson learned: During covid, do a quick check that everything works before you move in.
Minor problems aside, we recommend them as we enjoyed our stay at Glacier Lodge and would gladly do so again.
