The don't expect anything special when in comes to the room and decor but they do put a good effort when it came to food and the service to make you feel as comfortable as possible

Good one night stay
A good stay before catching a morning flight the next day. Very quiet despite being beside the airport and having a busy restaurant in the building. Dated decor but comfortable. Good wifi. Really nice staff.

Clean and friendly
A standard hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff. Good for travelers with short overnight stay, a trucker hotel. The restaurant is also frequented by locals. Business travelers will miss more electrical outlets in the room or a microwave.

Convenient for Americans during Covid, Roomservice
Convenient to the Covid restrictions for Americans traveling through the Yukon. Service was excellent, all meals ordered were quickly brought over to the room. Very pleased with how kind the workers were. Room was dated and I think there was a bed against the wall opposite my bed which wasn’t ideal for hearing the neighbor brushing up against the wall when sleeping.

Classic Motel Stay
Classic motel stays, with all the amenities you could need. Clean and neat which is important and so 5 stars for that. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Good place to stay while traveling through Whitehorse. Has a restaurant so you don’t have to leave while social isolating.

One of the finest establishments in Whitehorse. Staff was friendly and delivered room service with a smile. The kiddos loved the floral bedding. Fine art on the walls. Spa quality shampoos. Huge menu for room service.

Definitely an older motel. Everything was clean but the hallway was a little dark and narrow, the carpeting was older, the floors in the room were not level, and the overall ambience begged for modernization. Still a comfortable place to stay.

This is an older property that has been well-maintained. The bathroom was spotless & looked like it had been recently renovated. I was there for 8 nights and returned to a vacuumed & tidied room each evening. The restaurant food was very good; the bar is popular & bar food is available. Staff are friendly & accomodating. I will stay here again.

Home away from home
Airport Chalet has always served delicious home cooked food. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The rooms are convenient and cozy right across from the airport.

I could leave my bags in the room I was staying in well before check in time. They did me a favour since I was going into town for the day to that made my life really easy :)

The Airport Chalet is middle-of-the-road and it is showing signs of needing an update in decor. It is walking distance (5 minutes) from the airport. There is free wi-fi. The hotel is located next to a truck stop and it is possible that truck movements and engines running will disturb your sleep if your room is on that side of the building. The room had a fridge, coffee machine and TV. There is a cafe, which I did not try. There is a comfortable and friendly bar lounge which serves both drink and food. The food was good quality and good value. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Husband and I arrived very late due to the flight delay. We checked in at the midnight . The repception was very nice. Don’t expect too munch for the room but it was good enough for your stay.

I feel it necessary to mention the hotel, restaurant and bar staff were excellent. But I gave them an ok review of staff because of two night employees that were at the cashier counter when I was taking my puppy out for a bathroom break, they made a rude comment about my dog and laughing at me as I walked by. Very unprofessional. For the price and pet friendly rooms I feel it was a good stay.

Wouldn't stay again
The hotel is old and dated. The room was small and hot. The bed was small and hard as a rock. I got very little sleep because it was so hot in the room and no way to turn the temp down. I did open the window for awhile but as it was about -20 outside I couldn't leave it opened. The only good thing about this hotel was it was quiet which surprised me because it was pretty full and right on the highway.

Great value for money!
The Airport Chalet is an older building and a little shabby at first glance. However, it is extremely clean, has free wifi and satellite TV with modern flatscreen HD TVs. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They have a good selection of off sales and a good little bar and greasy spoon restaurant that serve some up great breakfasts. It's right across the street of the airport and if you stay there before and after a trip, you can leave your vehicle parked there. It's great value for your money at less than $100 per night. Quickly becoming one of our favourite places to stay in Whitehorse!
