An older premises in good condition. Very comfortable bed and plenty of shampoo and conditioner for use in shower. Breakfast cereal and tea and coffee provided together with bottled water for use in kettle. Overall good value.

Room was basic but safe secure and in a good position, Staff were very helpful, food and beer were good only slight negative is you could hear the music from the Bar a little in our room at the stairs end, possibly ask for a room down the other end if you think it could bother you.

We came from Adelaide for a 50th party overnight so really just needed somewhere to sleep, however the electricity kept shutting down on one side of the room which was very frustrating. The room is also in dire straits of an upgrade!! The staff were very helpful in giving us extension cords to help with our needs but overall a disappointing stay. We wouldn't stay again.

Loved the service, the room was very basic which was what i need for only staying for 24 hours Only issue i had when you turning the shower on if the pressure got to high it would fall down. Other than that, was a good and pleasant stay, check in and out was so easy and the staff we polite and friendly

It was a basic room, no instructions anywhere on how to use the air con or tv, the fan in the bathroom did not work and there was a big run in the carpet, could have used another blanket on the bed or an electric blanket as it got cold during the night...it was quiet, could not hear any noise from others or bar down stairs and they supplied cereal..good value for money..

We didn’t stay at the Hotel as we canceled because of the 7 day Coronavirus Lockdown. I had to ring the Hotel to cancel because the on line booking site was down and I couldn’t get through. I rang the hot line and was put on a waiting list which was over half an hour wait and then was cut off.???

A compact room with hotel benefits
The single room was small, but contained all the essentials. The only hiccup was the cleaner coming to the room at 6:45am. Easy access to all the pub facilities and restaurant was good.

The main meal area, was clean and staff friendly. Rooms need updateing. No shelves in bathroom area. Room i had not clean. Only give you 1 small milk. They supplied cerial for breakfast. i couldnt have milk on my ceral.

The place is not “New” and is being refurbished. Not well sign posted. Curtains were broken. The on site restaurant served only basic Pub food. But the place was cheap, clean and quiet Regards Ian

The Restaurant was excellent, as was the service and the price. The room was what let the whole place down. There were 2 lights in the room which didn't work. We had no hot water available in the morning for a shower. In the bathroom, there was an overflow from the hot water service which dripped onto the bathroom floor all night, so that by morning there was a big puddle of water on the floor, making it quite dangerous I believe. The bathroom wasn't as clean as it could have been, and there were several areas in the room where it was partly repainted only.

This is the second o/night stay here. Have returned as safe parking, rooms are upstairs I was immediately offered help. Stairs safe and well spaced. Room average size and adequate Bonus free Continental breakfast No noise from downstairs Great meals and childrens play ground

The single room was adequate for a person who didn’t use a walking frame, a little narrow for aids. The toilet and shower were of good size and safe entry. Bonus complimentary breakfast cereal pack was appreciated. The room smelt fresh, air conditioner very good.

Good sized room. Clean linen. Fridge and microwave. Clean room. Tea, coffee and cereal for breakfast. Bar, restaurant and gaming facilities if required. On road parking under CCTV. No lift access to accommodation which could be a problem if you have a lot of luggage.

Shared bathrooms? Might be good to mention that. We didn’t bother to stay as our room was located next door to a wedding reception and directly above a noisy bouncy castle!

We appreciated the friendly welcome and our room was centrally located on the first floor. Beds were comfortable and bathroom facilities adequate. (the bathroom was large and was set up for guests with disabilities) Breakfast provisions were limited to a small choice of packet cereal, with milk supplied, but no provision for toast and spreads,as was perhaps expected ( the listing stated that breakfast was included). The room was quiet and adequately furnished. All in all still good value accommodation.

The room was clean, just. It was noisy and with the window open I had a lot of smoke coming in. There was no information to suggest that it had a shared bathroom. The bathroom was dirty and the shower hard to adjust the temperature of the water. Very disappointed given the price of the room. The housekeeper was also asking me to leave by 9.30 on the morning of departure.
