"We were given an upgrade and the room was very nice, although the cost was very high at £180+ , which we assumed was due to the time of year. It was part of an 8 day trip which included 5 hotels and this was almost double the cost of the other, good quality hotels. The hotel and amenities are excellent and I would have awarded a higher rating for the ambience……however we were very disappointed with the set meal at £69 per head. We had invited my husbands mother to join us and felt that it wasn’t value for money. The bar was suffering from staff sickness and service was slow…..but the head barman was very good and apologetic for any inconvenience. Overall a very nice hotel, but expensive."

"Unfortunately very different than that i expected. Starting with the fact that my room was on the last floor and the building doesn't have an elevator, i had 3 pieces of luggage and the stairs were super tiny. This information is not explicit in the site and it should be The place did not have parking at all, i was instructed to park on the street but there was no space so i need to park few blocks away. The room itself did not smell good, seems there was issues with the bathroom. I had a meeting to attend to and i needed to ask for an extension on my check-out of 2 hours, there was absolutely no flexibility to accommodate it without paying for a late check out fee. Luckily it was only for 1 night"

"Clean room and spacious. I don’t know if it was low season or what but we seemed to be the only guests in the hotel for the four nights we stayed. Front desk was not staffed except for very limited hours. "
