"We loved to stay at this hotel despite other bad reviews. Only big problem the heat. The hotel is not ready when it comes to hot days. There where conditioners but didn't really worked and the rooms where very hot at night and during the day. But breakfast was excellent and so the rest of our stay"

"Plug in sink jammed, couldn’t have a wash. So hot, no air conditioning. Shower was great. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice. Next door was very noisy."

"Staff were friendly throughout. Hotel was clean, well decorated and comfortable. The spa was fabulous and a welcome addition after a day of walking in Winchester. This is likely more of a personal request but since they have communal changing areas, bigger towels for those guests that just can't quite fit normal towels would be an appreciated addition - it's the little things! "Two night stay at Marwell Zoo.Nice 'safari' style hotel situated right next to the Zoo. Plenty of convenient parking and quite an unusual hotel but also very nice. Pleasant comfortable room and bar area. Nice but unexceptional breakfast, but overall very good value!"

"The staff are really friendly. The rooms are nice and the surroundings very nice. There is a bar and restaurant. We sat out drinking beer on the patio, we used the golf driving range for a small fee. There is a swimming pool and gym on site. We didnt uae these, there is a £5 fee per use of these facilities."

"Restaurant has a reasonable range of food for dinner and a great breakfast. Room is a little tired but functional. Staff were happy to provide extra tea and milk Bed was large and comfy though we both struggled with the pillows. Aircon worked well and it was nice to be able to open a window. Plenty of parking though no longer free as we booked before the charge we were provided free parking. "
