"Great hotel. Staff were good but let down with restaurant weekend staff that could have done more. I kinda felt they didn't make an effort asking a colleague or finding out to andwer my questions instead of just saying "I don't know" Got my simple request wrong 3 times which was a shame. In the end I didn't insist anymore as I felt will just add to my stress."

"Hotel is a bit tired. One lift out of order made the other two very busy at times. In our room, the light when you entered the room wasn't working and no matter what we did with the heating controls the room never seemed to warm up. The shower control was very stiff to turn off. Lots of mould around the window reveals. In the glazed area where the bar was, you can see where some panes have leaked and there is corrosion and paint peeling. Staff were friendly."

"Nice spa, nice renovations, shame the steam room wasn't working. The mens showers were cold. But other than that this was a nice hotel experience. The bedroom was a little small but well kept. The bar area and restaurant was well appointed and you can see nice refurbishment work had happened. The breakfast was excellent and worth the money. The location was quite good to access town with a short walk."
