This was the cleanedt suite ive ever been in and we travel extensively for work. It was cosy and comfortable witha seperate seating area from the bedroom. The breakfast was wntiful avross the road, well cooked and lots of options. Couldnt have asked for anywhere better than this experience.

Myself and my partner have stayed here a couple of times before, the location is really good close to all amenities, very clean and the hosts were really nice, advising us about parking, breakfast and other importance information, we will definitely be coming back again

Cheeky Night Away

Lovely big comfortable room, we stayed in Rydal suite. Owner met us on arrival and checked us in early, very welcoming and friendly. We had everything we needed on the doorstep, perfect location would highly recommend.

Good and small hotel with only 6 suites friendly staff in the center of the city Very clean rooms No facilities like lobby or restaurant. Staff are bringing the breakfast to the room

Enjoyed our stay

Lovely room and we enjoyed the lake view. The breakfast hamper was fine. The only thing we didn’t love were the bed and pillows. But we do sleep on an exceptionally comfortable bed at home so maybe that wouldn’t be an issue for most people. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Worth considering.

The suite itself was very nice. It was spacious, very well decorated, clean and well maintained.. The breakfast was fine, if a cooked breakfast is not your thing. Excellent location for the town centre, but at the same time very quiet. The one big draw back was the parking situation. We did not feel comfortable pulling up outside, as had been suggested, to drop the cases off or to pick up the car park ticket due to there being double yellow lines outside, plus it being the only stretch of road in Bowness with police no waiting bollards! We had great difficulty finding a car park space on any of the car parks (around 12.30 pm). We paid for the minimum of 3 hours and went to collect the car park ticket from the suites when that time was nearly up. The ticket did not cover the car park we were on so we had to move the car, only to find a place very difficult to find on the correct car park: we must have been there 15 minutes before a place became available. This is not likely to be so bad at other times of the year. As above, the suites themselves are very nice. Guests may like to consider catching a train to Windermere and then a taxi to Bowness instead of taking the car.

Lovely stay at Bowness Bay Suites

Really lovely place to stay, it was immaculately clean and very comfortable and spacious. The owner was so helpful and friendly also. It's located right in the town of Bowness, next to some great pubs and places to eat, being only a 2 minute walk to the lake also. Parking is offsite however it's only a short walk through the lovely town of Bowness to the public car park, but we never had a problem getting a space when we'd been out for the day and there's room to leave your car outside the suites to pick up/drop off luggage easily enough. Would definitely stay here again.

Average hotel.

We had a really great much needed break. The hotel was in a perfect spot for all local amenities and was ok. The rooms were not as glamorous as they looked in the pictures and with the breakfast that was provided I would say it was overpriced. I look forward to more than cereal and juice when I’m away. I understand there are restrictions due to Covid but It felt like a very easy option and no effort made. The check in was not the most friendly. We had a ground floor room so had to sit with curtains closed or passers by would stare in and also next to reception so was listening to the phone ringing and didn’t feel particularly private. Maybe other rooms were better.

A superb place to stay.

An excellent place to stay. Everything was of a high quality and well thought out. We enjoyed it all including the breakfast in our room. Only slight issue was that there was no fire to take the chill off and we didn;t manage to work out the central heating and should have asked but not a lot of time with a 2 night stay. Will definitely stay there again. Very well located near the church and plenty of restaurants etc very near. Good parking in Belsfield Hotel which was free..

Fantastic lovely stay - 5*

Beautiful room with doors looking out onto the lake. Room clean, tidy and very large with fantastic decor. The staff were very helpful and friendly and brought up a lovely breakfast to our room at a time of our choosing. The hotel itself is a stones throw away from the centre of bowness and 2 mins walk to the lake, parking is also including which is also fantastic as spaces are often at a premium. Will definitely be staying here again and recommending to friends and family.
