Really comfortable bed, the room had everything we needed, great location, breakfast was spot on, Paula gave us great information about the local area, we would highly recommend staying at Kirkwood house.

Lovely friendly place to stay. Paula was very welcoming, and the room was immaculate, and clean. We had breakfast and it was lovely, plenty to choose from and paula cannot do enough for you on your stay. Thanks guys for your hospitality we will be back.

A beautiful stay in Windermere

An amazing stay at Kirkwood House! Richard and Paula are superior hosts and really nade sure our stay was exceptional. Our room was large and very nicely furnished. Breakfast was great.

A very nice, quiet place in a good location, a reasonably short walk to both Bowness and Windermere. The host, Paula, is very kind and helpful and I really enjoyed the wonderful breakfast! If I come back to the Lake District I'll stay there again.

Fantastic stay in Windermere! Thanks for Richard and Paula, we had an amazing time for 3 nights. Great taste breakfast provided everyday, the room is classic furnished and the location is good. The stay at Kirkwood Guest House was everything we could have asked for, Paula was so attentive and the breakfast service was exceptional. The location was a 10-minute walk between both Windermere and Bowness. Couldn’t have asked for anything more from a guesthouse.

Lovely, relaxing break in the Lakes.

Really enjoyable 2 night stay. Room warm and comfortable. Had the option to eat breakfast in our own room or the dining room. Breakfast was exceptional, all local produce with a vegetarian option. Richard and Paula were very friendly. Would definitely recommend and would 100% stay again ☺️
