"Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. During our stay there was a film set in place for Father Brown and a restriction at the end of the road. It didn’t take away from our stay, but was glad of the premier inn parking just a 100m away. "The room was quite clean, but I did not like that the carpet in both the room and the hotel was very dirty. I believe a hotel should not have carpets in such poor condition. The staff was okay, but not very friendly. I think this may be related to the way British people are, although if you work in customer service, you should always provide the best experience possible. The breakfast was excellent, with very helpful staff and delicious, fresh food. Parking was average. Also, the lack of air conditioning in the room was very inconvenient, and there was no ice machine available either."
