"We stayed here for a couple of nights for a long weekend exploring the Yorkshire Wolds. The location is great, being close to a few larger towns like Driffield and Pocklington, but also close to some amazing walking including a stretch of the Yorkshire Wolds Way. The room was really lovely, the staff friendly, and the food and beer fantastic. We will definitely stay again when we're next out this way! "
"Lovely place to stay so friendly welcoming lovely staff decent food at good prices. Comfortable clean plenty of space in rooms we loved our stay here as a family would highly recommend "
"We attended a wedding and had the best time. Simon worked so hard in difficult circumstances.
The building is beautiful but in need of a fortune spending on it. In saying that we would happily go back "

"We stayed here for one night to enjoy the races. The room was very well priced compared to others in the town. It is close to the train station so it is easy to jump on the race course buses. The room was really well presented, clean and spacious. Great facilities in the room with coffee machine, robes, ironing board etc and the shower was lovely and hot and powerful. We did enjoy a couple of drinks up on the roof bar and some sushi, but we didn’t stay for breakfast. We will definitely stay here again. "
"Check in was very smooth. Great location at a walkable distance to Clifford's Tower and The Shambles. Also close to multiple bus stops if you are traveling further. The room was very comfortable and clean. Housekeeping came by every day to refresh the room. They also held our luggage for us the day that we checked out so that we could go explore the city without lugging around our things. "
