The room, however, is rightfully what awaits one's attention. The layout is also simple, yet carefully thought out to provide space, function, comfort, and a beautiful ambience. "This is a very charming, new-looking bed and breakfast just a few minutes' drive outside Izamal. Our cabin was very nice, clean, and quiet with good AC. Good communication with the owner, who is also very good with English. Breakfast is flexible, with good menu options available ordered the night before for a specific time. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling by car looking to stay in the area."

"This place is great! From the tent, to the food, and the area itself. The people there were super friendly and helpful, and we got to see a few great cenotes. There was even a complementary 45 min. full body massage - when does that happen?! It's good to keep in mind that they don't have wifi, and it's not super accessible to get there without a car, so plan ahead! We really enjoyed our stay at Hameki."

"This property is very nice, the bedrooms are beautiful and the pool area lovely and very clean all round. We found there wasn’t much to do/see compared to other hacienda properties we’ve been to. No complaints on food or staff either, food was very good and excellent service staff. Just not a place we would return to for the price it costs. "

"The experience with staff and facilities was very good overall. The front desk and restaurant employees were excellent. The resort is very quiet and one might feel as if you have the place almost to yourself. There was a couple of downsides, that one might expect. You are in the jungle and there may very well be bugs (read spiders). They assured us that none are harmful. The bathrooms somehow are aging worse than the rest of the rooms. They should not have painted the showers etc as this has led to mold, at least in our case. All that said, for the price, the hotel is excellent, in general. We thank the staff for their kind attention during our stay."
