"We have stayed at Waterloo several times and have always found it very pleasant. The staff are helpful, clean rooms and good breakfast. The pool and gym facilities are good. Nothing fancy or pretentious but they get the basics right and the price is fair. Will likely be staying again."

"Very nice spot to set up your base while exploring north wales. As a word of caution: its very convenient location to the bus and train service is a huge plus, but the actual train and bus service in this region is quite unreliable. I was able to make due but there were a few times I had to wait upwards of 2-3 hours for trains to return back to betwy y coed after a long hike so you may want to consider renting a car if you're exploring many parts of the region, but it is still very accessible via public transit if that is your only option. The hotels food was actually very good and balanced and I always looked forward to eating there for a reasonable price after a long day"

We booked as a nicer home base alternative for doing activities in Snowdonia (we are one couple for reference), and safe to say we got way more than we could have imagined. The view is to die for, the cabins and pods are very well equipped, and again the host was incredible. The little touches (like putting fresh ice packs in the included cool box to keep everything fresh, and putting wood in the hot tub so it was warm every afternoon) did not go unnoticed or unappreciated. Thank you Menna, Siabod huts is a fantastic place to stay! We will definitely be back."
