The Seafront Hotel by Compass Hospitality

8/10 Good
"Pleasant hotel in need of some love. Opposite the beach with a good walk to the main part of town but places to eat and drink nearby. General public bar, restaurant and sitting room in good condition. Our room had lovely sea view with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom, with plenty of hot water. Had comfortable chairs and good curtains which kept the light out but unfortunately both had food stains and were in need of a good clean. Other furniture needed replacing, covered in heat marks from hair straighteners and a wonky unclosing wardrobe. Squeaky floor in room and bathroom but appreciate its an old hotel."

"Lovely place. Clean. Helpful staff. Traditional cooked breakfast was very nice. The breakfast buffet was also good, with excellent granola. Would have liked a separate shower, instead of a combined shower/bath, but that's a minor gripe. I didn't use the spa, so can't comment on that."

Esplanade Hotel Llandudno

10/10 Excellent
"Lovely hotel which was very clean, apart from the window which had hand prints all over. The beds were really comfy and the breakfast was lovely and plentiful. Only downside was advertised as free parking but with only a small car park was told it was full and would have to park on the street instead. Paid ยฃ6.40 for 21 hours on the street so not a big deal but a bit disappointing."
