"I stayed at this a hotel a few years ago and it was excellent and I really enjoyed my stay however since then the quality has really gone down. There was no longer a breakfast, the WiFi was very off and on and the TV was out on one of the nights we stayed. We also missed the big wolf by the front door and the stuffed wolf on the bed. Other than that the room was clean and comfortable and the staff were great. We come to Yellowstone often but I think this is not my first choice of hotel anymore."

"We enjoyed our two days stay overall—the room was spacious, clean, and the morning breakfast selections along with (cappuccino, tea, filtered water) were great. The front desk clerk was also quick to switch our room when we were initially assigned a handicap room. However, there are a few drawbacks: * The in-room AC unit made a wobbling noise off and on. * Handling a luggage trolley is difficult due to a tight lockable doorway and having to push it down a long hallway to reach the slope at the end. * The indoor pool felt too chilly to swim in. * Expect a $14/night resort fee at the front desk."

"This place was the best little surprise for us in Gardiner. We wish that we had had time to stay for longer than one night. Handing us a bag at check-in that had ingredients for s-mores (to be fixed over the fire on the patio) and including binoculars and a walking stick in each room were wonderful little touches. The room itself was spacious and comfortable and wonderfully located for nearby restaurants, shops, and access to Yellowstone and Paradise Valley. Highly recommend!"

"This is a renovated 1913 hotel. If you are a light sleeper, I recommend ear plugs. They have done a beautiful job reviving this hotel to its original beauty but the walls are super thin. We had upstairs neighbors who talked, walked and moved like they were a heard of elephants up until midnight and then up at 6 am. Overall this place is beautiful and the employees were very nice."

"Very nice main building. Violinist playing in lobby, fireplaces going, everyone was friendly and talkative. Our room was tidy, but not as clean as it should have been. Carpet was stained, tile bathroom floor needed a good scrubbing. The shelves weren’t well stocked, they were out of a lot In The general store, bar and restaurant. But what they did have was I. Terms of food and drink was good."
