nice place to hang out
Small rooms with narrow beds. Hot water shower is integrated into the bathroom so the whole room gets wet. Good wifi, Fan in room at night was all we needed but had air conditioning as well that worked. Breakfast was simple but good with eggs anyway you want, toast or rice, small serving of fruit and questionable coffee or tea. The best part was the beautiful well kept grounds, nice patios and a good pool. It was really good to spend time relaxing with access to sun and shade at all times of the day. Really nice staff also helped make it a nice stay. Good location for restaurants and bars but quiet at night.

Nice quiet hotel in the heart of Yogya
The hotel was quiet and comfortable and in a good location. Overall very satisfactory but there could be more choices for breakfast.

Great little place
We really appreciated staying at DELTA HOME STAY, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool is a definite asset. It is situated in a very interesting area, both central and vibrant. We had a really good time and loved returning to our room, greeted by tea and cakes.

They took very good care of me-even when I was leaving early in the morning to the airport, they packed a breakfast box for me. Otherwise perfect budget accommodation in Yogyakarta.

Charming gardens round a pool
We loved the Delta homestay. It consists of a number of small cabins each with its own terrace in gardens round a pool. the planting of the gardens is clever making the patios partially private without losing light. This isn't a place for the marble bathroom brigade but it's clean and modest and everything works. It's very handy for the parallel street full of restaurants and it's also only about 20 mins walk to the Kraton. Also not far from the water garden. A big thumbs up.

Nice enough.
We stayed here two nights. The guy who works nights is a little weird. He wouldn't let us use our credit card to pay for an excursion, though the sign clearly states we can for an additional 3%.

Had a lovely 5 night stay there. There was no double room available which was a shame but it was acceptable. Staff very nice and helpful. Clean room and free breakfast. Pool was clean and a plus!

A little oasis in a busy city
A great place to stay in a great location. stay for a couple of nights before visiting mt merapi for one night staying at vogals homestay,return for one night to make onward journey plans. Some rooms are currently being up dated, wwe stayed in room 10 which seemed to be the best for the money we paid. would recommend a stay here. Next street has plenty of bars and ATMs. For the best Milkshakes try 52s down the high St.

Decent budget option
Delta Homestay is a good budget option. They have a swimming pool, free breakfast, free wifi, water bottle refills. The rooms are basic but clean. The pool was a very nice touch and one day we were swimming and a staff member brought us tea and snacks! The breakfast is very basic and pretty flavorless, but you choose how you want your egg cooked, type of fruit, toast or fried rice etc. The wifi wasn't the best but good enough. The staff was not overly friendly, but they were polite. The location is good for walking distance to Marlioboro and the Palaces

Good experience
Nice hotel, mostly younger folks but we enjoyed it. Pool and patio off room nice to beat the mugginess. Room a bit small, trapping over our suitcases but very good for the price. Breakfast not great, very simple but afternoon tea with fried banana....yummy.

Actually once we reached the premises the staff told us that the the is no vacant room even reservation has been made. But the staff offered us the other premises also handle by the same management. Duta Homestay. around 5 minutes time to go there. The rating we recommennd as above actually for Duta Homestay.

Good for budget travel. Swimming pool appears clean and well maintained. Site upkeep externally view is pleasant. Room and bed is Ok for Asians but the twin beds maybe a bit too small for Caucasians! Upkeep of room is a bit below expectation. There are cockroaches and ants, so room pest controls are below expectations. Hot water and shower is acceptable. Room maintenance could be better. Cobwebs hang around the aircond blower. Should wipe clean or vacuum daily at least but not done, though the tile floor is vacuumed and mopped daily. Could be better if bath floor towel is used and changed daily instead of an old greyish black mat being used! Wooden bathroom door lamination peeling off at floor level areas. Wall paper also peeling off at floor level and bedside table area is dirty as vacuuming seems to miss this area often. We stayed for 5 nights. Would be pleasant if the room upkeep is better. Again, for the price,I guess the room is acceptable!

The staff were very helpful, but the rooms badly need a makeover. Toilet flush was not working. The rooms were swarmed with mosquitoes. I had to move to a different hotel. The exterior garden and swimming pool were nice though.

Great service!
This was the first hotel/homestay in all of budget Asia to keep our bathroom stocked with TP without ha ing to ask for it. The staff was professional and they keep a tank of water to refill your bottles for a very nominal fee. Very quiet and with a pool to boot!

It is adequate for a budget hotel, everything is so basic although they have a nice garden setting. There is no bedside light at all and no kettle to boil hot water for drinking.

自分が泊まった部屋だけかもしれないけど、天井裏をネズミが走り回っていて、うるさかった。そして、庭に侵入するネズミも見た。浴室兼トイレには小バエがちらほら。シャワーの水圧は弱いし、温度調節も難しい。ただ、庭はよく手入れされているし、プールもきれいだし、朝食もおいしく、スタッフも親切だった。

En el caos de Yogyakarta el hotel para nosotros fue un remanso de paz. La habitación es algo pequeña y no es lo mejor del hotel pero el personal es muy amable y atento.La piscina es algo pequeña pero agradable. Nosotros volveríamos sin dudarlo.

Tolle ruhige Anlage!
Das Delta Homestay liegt zentral und wir konnten den Palast, die Maliboro str.und Zoo zu Fuss erreichen. Das Frühstück. ist gut und das Personal sehr freundlich. schöner Pool und die Anlage eine Oase im Trubel der Stadt. Wir waren bestimmt nicht das letzte mal hier !

Siamo state 3 notti al Delta Homestay. Ambiente molto confortevole come la struttura in se. Tutti molto gentili e cordiali. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo....un consiglio, per le camere, mettere delle mensole x appoggiare le proprie cose.

Situé à environ 200 m des bars et resto du quartier, endroit tranquille et sécuritaire. À 30 min de marche du Kraton. Le personnel est courtois. J'y retournerais sans hésiter.

Mysigt och precis lagom.
Mycket trevligt hotell! Mötes av en snäll dam som gav oss massa nyttig information om området (om restauranggatorna, palatsen, templen och Jomblang Cave). Det finns massa små hotell runtomkring och ligger på gatan bredvid de två restauranggatorna. Palatsen ligger inte heller långt bort, tog ca 20-30min att gå. Man kunde beställa turer via hotellet till olika resemål, var väldigt smidigt och ganska prisvärt (man kan säkert hitta billigare men vi valde dessa). Rummen är ganska små med AC (iallafall i det vi bodde i) men man är ju bara där för att vila lite och sova så var lagom för oss. Toaletten var också liten med en dusch. Hotellet har en liten pool som räcker gott och väl för att svalka sig i. Frukosten beställer man dagen innan genom att kryssa i en lapp så fixar dom den till önskad tid. Personalen är jättetrevlig. De kan tvätta åt dig men de sa själva att det var billigare om man gick till de som fanns längst gatorna. Det enda som var lite tråkigt just när vi bodde här var att de höll på att renovera lite så ibland kunde det vara lite högljutt under morgonen.

Delta/Duta look out for room 27!
Although we had booked with Delta, we stayed at Duta a family related hotel nearby. Delta sold it to us as an upgrade, but we were very disappointed with room 27! Clearly an emergency room for overbookings. Located in a dark hallway, the room smells like mould, has ants in the bathroom, the curtains are so greasy and dirty you do not want to touch them. The kingsizebed bed was mad by shoving two little matrasses together. Nice things: the swimming pool and the friendly staff.

Nice simple hotel with good price/quality ratio
Nice simple hotel in lively Prawirotaman area, but secluded from any noise (but very thin walls between rooms). Tiny room with working a/c, warm shower and small patio. Ask for a room at poolside. Pool is nice, breakfast ok, service at reception excellent.
