The staff were friendly but had no prior experience with dealing with foreigners. We came to the hotel thinking that there will be dinner at the cafe, but to our disappointment there was none. We were rejected flatly when we asked if any dinner preparation can be made or food delivery service. We were very willing to pay knowing that special arrangements would be charged.
They told us that we should have made prior arrangements for dinner, but as foreigners we wouldnt know about the location (too far from any eating places). No offer was made to help us solve the dinner issue. Finally they sold us some cup noodles knowing that we had absolutely nothing to eat. (of course at an inflated cost).
Environment was very nice to be honest, but with the service, I think we can find other accommodation around Yilan.
