I reserved a lake view room for 2 days. The view is very pretty. The location is perfect for hiking, biking and shopping. The included breakfast is also good. The connected Thao-style restaurant called Mafei Restaurant next to the hotel is also very good

Perfect stay
Located steps from the water and in front of the marina, this hotel was clean, spacious, and had a bountiful and diverse breakfast spread that included dim sum and both eastern and western dishes. The staff spoke great English, and were very helpful. This was the closest to a Western hotel / Marriott experience we got on our trip to Taiwan. Bonus: they even provided the famous black tea in your room, so no need to buy or sample it outside.

We like how the hotel is right on the water front and close to restaurants. The breakfast was great, lots of hot food options. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The shower had no curtain so water would get all over the floor, but otherwise it was a very pleasant stay.

No Shower curtain
Extremely convenient location for boat ride, bus ride, and bike renting. 9 minute walk to the Zhaowu Pier to see the sunrise. Friendly frontdesk and staff. Good breakfast buffet. Has both eastern and western style breakfast to eat. Has a water dispenser in the room. Can refill your own bottle, which is environmentally friendly. Minus: No shower curtain in the bathroom. My friend and I had to take a shower very carefully to not sprinkle water all over the floor.

Amazing view but needs some work
The location is amazing. How every the bed is super hard and the pillows are feather pillows. Very close to next room so if they are out on there balcony you can hear them. The shower needs a curtain or just something to stop the water from going everywhere. Staff super helpful.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is central to everything at sun moon lake. The only thing I would suggest improving are more traditional breakfast selections at their buffet, better beds where are you don’t feel every coil & having luggage carts for overseas travelers who brought many pieces with them. I had to borrow a cart from the kind folks at Hotel Del Lago to push all the luggage up the hill but the kind staff was willing to help me push even though I declined.

Room was hot as air condition did not work properly. Room temp was 26c and in the morning it went down to 25.5 c. The fan they supplied did not help nor opening the sliding door as the outside temp is same ir hotter. Nice lake view room but have sleepless night. Dont recommend this hotel.

The hotel looks nice at first glance however not long after you will notice some parts of the bathroom are moldy. The bathtub/shower has no curtains so when you use it, there is no way to avoid water getting on the floor. We had to use multiple towels to dry the floor. In addition, the room is extremely small. There is absolutely no room to lay our suitcases down to open them. Very inconvenient especially if you plan on staying more than 1 day.

Everything is good, room is clean, toilet is nice, bed is comfortable, breakfast not bad, have a balcony for us to enjoy the view. The only thing is the room space is small especially after we place all our luggages on the floor, we can barely move in the room. But overall is good.

Nice hotel at sun moon lake
Clean room. Nice location. Nice service. Decent free breakfast. Only complaints we have are 1. I don't recall the ap indicated that the room has a street view but maybe I missed the fine print 2. We were woken up by the smell of the cigarette smoking around 6am.

Convenient location near to visitor centre and small eateries. Two 7-11 nearby. Also near to Shuishe Pier. Hotel sells boat ticket at $100 (u. p. $300). Good buffet breakfast.

Hotel was dirty and lacked basic amenities like a shower curtain! Water would splash everywhere when showering. Dirty cracks and floor. Hotel looks pretty on the outside but very poorly assembled on the inside.

Nice hotel location by Sun Moon Lake, Taiwan
We have a room with very nice lake view. Hotel is very clean , close to bus station, shopping & pier shueishe.easy to get to all attractions around the lake, only small thing is bad sewer smell in bathroom at nite, other than that we are happy with this hotel, will come back next time and reccomend to our friends.

Hotel location is good but toilet needs a revamp
The toilet was very smelly, suspected is the mould inside the toilet. The bathtub is very deep and has no shower curtain. The floor ( even outside the bathtub) gets very wet after a shower. So if you are pregnant or have difficulty moving around, This hotel is not suitable for you.

Nice hotel in town
A very nice hotel in town. Convenient as everything is just around it and within walking distance. Downside is it is a very local style hotel. Can be crowded at breakfast. A pool in room that is suppose to be a tub or spa, but don't fit well as there is no bubbles or heaters. No shower curtain, hence whole toilet get wet after a shower. The toilet and room floor can get yucky.

Convenient and clean.
It's a pretty that the hotel provides paper cups, no proper tea cups although the coffee/tea making facilities is a very good one. Secondly, the shower has no curtain. The floor all get wet after you took a shower. Thirdly, how come the receptionist asked us do we need a daily clean up.
