Frontdesk very rude ! Is a bar inside a hostel ! Is not a hostel ! If you don’t Smoke you have to Be a passive smoker!!! Because the hotel allow all people smoke inside...

Irresponsible, dirty and noisy hotel.
Booked 2 rooms, and made a remark to stay on the same floor. Turned out that we have to stay in 2 rooms of different building 30 minutes apart on foot. Hotel is irresponsible and don't care about our concerns as some members of our group do not speak English. It's very hard and inconvenience for us to plan our itinerary if we are that far apart. Hotel is not clean and noisy. Broken glasses are all over the kitchen in the morning, as people may have been drunk at night on the bar on the 1st foot. Smoke are all around on the 1st floor. People make noise in the hotel even after midnight.

Problem with payment.
It was a pleasant experience, the only problem is that in the hotel they did not accept a card, nor did they pay in another currency. Both in the hostel and in the hostel bar. So it was a bit tricky to interact on the spot.

Dear guest, Thank you for your review! We are sorry you experienced some inconveniences during your stay here. As you may know, Croatia still has its own currency (Kuna), and nowhere in Croatia is possible to pay in euros, which includes bars and restaurants as well. At the reception we accept credit cards (visa, maestro, mastercard), but our bar unfortunately only takes cash. As we are located in the city center, there are various exchange offices and ATMs in a walking distance from the hostel, and our lovely receptionists would give you all the information and help you out. We hope for the next time we can help you a bit more with some issues you may have. All the best from Chillout team! :-)

Central Location
Chillout Hostel Zagreb has an amazing location. It is located right next to the funicular and is within walking distance of all the main attractions. There are tons of wonderful cafes, bars, and bakeries nearby. The hostel is also within walking distance (15 minutes) of the central train station. I booked a private room with en-suite bathroom. This essentially consisted of them giving me an eight person dorm room to myself. A bar is located on the main floor but I did not hear any bar noise from my room on the fourth floor. This place is definitely a hostel not a hotel, but if location is your top priority, Chilout Hostel is worth considering.

Good location. Hotel staff was helpful. Reasonably priced. The garbage in my room had not been emptied from the last guest before I checked in. Most guests are in their 20's. I would stay here again if I return to Zagreb.

Great spot!
We really enjoyed our time here. Ended up extending another night. Perfect central location within walking distance to everything and easy to make a quick stop while you're out and about. Great vibe and the bar seems to always have something going on. Remember that if you hear a noise at 12pm to not freak out. It got me the first couple times.

Great location. Very comfy beds. Clean and modern. Kitchen is very small. Smoking is allowed downstairs in the bar/social area and does seem to get everywhere cause of that. Also the type of place where the name doesnt quite fit the building ;) much more of a party/group atmosphere.

Good Place to Chillout!
Location was really good. Easy to find as it was just next to the funicular. Tram stop is 400m away and is an easy walk even with luggages. Free walking tours were available (but remember to tip).... Philip was a walking history book given that he is a history student, so the tour was loaded with historical information, very informative. I also took the evening tour which is the same destinations but with another guide, Martina. She is a lively guide and provides lots of interesting trivia about the places we visit. There is also a pub crawl but it started pretty late and I was still jet lagged. Next to the hostel is the art park which also has an outdoor band and beer when I was there on Friday night. All in all, the stay was great.

the beds are enclosed into the wall, making them extremely hot even with the A/C on. the toilet clogged and even after I told the lobby no one fixed it. I had to use someone else bathroom.

Central location and good value for money
Great location - next to the furnicular and 5 minutes walk to St. Mark's church. We booked a private room with ensuite, small but clean room, good facilities. Very helpful staff at the hostel. Free use of computers and printers - super convenient if you need to print boarding passes etc for next journey.

Great location and staff, just had one complaint.
Definitely a great place to be for the backpacker crowd. Very very well located at the base of the funicular and very close to the main square. All of the staff I encountered was very accommodating and nice. They have a bar in the hostel and a good restaurant across the street. The free walking tour was quite excellent and very informative, felt bad for the guy with the low turn out in low season. Had a private room, bathroom was fine. Wasn't thrilled with the bunkbed when traveling solo though. The room was clean however, the biggest and unfortunate issue was a few insect bites (of what insect I do not know, didn't appear to be bed bug bites); so obviously wasnt happy about the bedding. But they did quarantine the room after I informed them, and offered me a complimentary stay. Seems like a really fun place, had I stayed longer or been there at a busier time.

Excelente, ótima localização
Fui para ficar dois dias e fiquei uma semana. Como fui acrescentando as reservas quase que diariamente, conheci diferentes quartos, coletivos e reservados, ambos bem estruturados e limpos. Li sobre barulho por ter um bar no térreo e um clube no subsolo, porém, o primeiro finda sua atividade bem antes da meia noite e o segundo não se ouve nada. Funcionários magníficos, prestativos e prontos para auxiliar em tudo que precisar. Localização excelente, perto de tudo. Um dos melhores hostel que já me hospedei

Hostel muy limpio, moderno, ordenado. Las camas son muy cómodas. Cuando hay fiestas, desde los cuartos no se escucha nada. Lo único malo es que cambiaron de dirección y en la confirmación de la reserva no avisa.

Bon séjour, néanmoins cet hôtel étant en travaux, nous avons été redirigé vers le Timeout hôtel. incorrect, il n’est pas satisfaisant de nous laisser un hôtel fermé. Heureusement nous avons été très bien accueilli dans ce nouvel hôtel. Dernière chose : il possède un night-club insonorisé qui nous a fortement empêché de dormir...

A localização é muito boa, mas o estabelecimento deixa a desejar. O que é mostrado nas fotos do site não condiz com a realidade, então há uma frustração muito grande no check-in. Não confiem nas fotos, pois não é isso que vocês receberão. Sugeri que alterassem as fotos, incluindo os quartos reais, mas não foi feito até o momento. Os funcionários são muito legais e atenciosos.

El personal es muy amable y atento, pero la limpieza de las habitaciones y los baños es deficiente. Particularmente la habitación que me tocó, no tenía casi ventilación y los olores desagradables de las demás personas se concentraban horrible en la habitación. La ubicación es muy céntrica, fácil acceso y cercana a muchos lugares de interés.

水回りはいつ掃除したのだろう。 共同エリアはタバコ臭い（夜はバーになる） エアコンは故障。 代わりの扇風機はホコリだらけ。 暑くて寝れないので、近くの広場で朝まで過ごしました。 強いて言うなら、立地は最高。
