Backstage Boutique SPA Hotel

Backstage Boutique SPA Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"We spent four night at this hotel and had such a lovely surprise as we got upgraded to the sky and stars suite on check in. It was amazing. The view of the Matterhorn from the balcony was superb. The room had a safe for valuables. The bed was very comfortable with a memory foam mattress and the bedroom was spacious. You could look at the stars from the bed at night if you pulled the blinds back. There was a telescope set up in the living area also to look at the stars. The lounge was comfortable and the tv had many channels including BBC/ITV. The kitchen had everything you needed. We used the facilities in the kitchen to cook dinner a few nights when we were too tired to go out after long days trekking in the mountains. There was a small bottle of Prosecco as a welcome drink for us in the room and a Nespresso coffee machine. We didn’t get the chance to use the spa but saw other people enjoying using it. The breakfast was superb. Great choices of cereal, juice, meats, bread, fruit and cheese as well as eggs cooked to your liking. We had dinner at the fine dining restaurant one night and the meal was beautiful. A wonderful experience I’m glad we did not miss. The property is well situated for all the activities in Zermatt and very close to the train station (approximately 250metres). If we are in Zermatt in future, I will definitely return to this property. I highly recommend it to others who are planning on going to Zermatt."
