Very friendly Super easy check-in. The key waited in an envelope with all information required. The Hotel does not serve breakfast but gives voucher for an excellent bakery 100m down the street. The restaurant were I had dinner is very good and personal very friendly. Overall really good stay.

Nice self check in guest house. The heating was very low and was quite cold in the room. No phone in room to call to check it. Heating dial was adjusted and temperature didn't change.wpre a heavy sweater yo stay warm. Don't think I'll go back if they don't fix the heating solution for guests.

I reserved the twin business room. In that picture they showed 4 different layouts however I ended up with the last picture layout that was on the third floor at the end of the hall. There was no elevator so I had to carry my suitcase and checked bag up all those flights. When booking this room I was hesitant because I was hoping to not get the room they gave me, but guess I got the short end of the stick. Overall, it was an ok stay. The bathroom was amazing and modern and the staff was very friendly and communicated efficiently!

Great choice
Hotel feels like new....only downside, no elevator and rooms are upstairs. Beautifully updated and excellent service. Supermarkets close by.

A very enjoyable stay
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Gasthof zum Hecht and will definitely return next time I am in Fehraltorf. Whilst there was no one at reception when I arrived, I received a very warm welcome from Mara on the phone and instructions on where to find the keys etc. The room was well appointed with a minibar, TV and the bathroom had all the necessary toiletries you could wish for. I found the bed very comfortable and enjoyed a good nights sleep. In the morning I received another warm welcome from Mara whilst she made fresh cappuccino for me and showed me the breakfast room. Breakfast is simple, but adequate. All the usual bread and rolls etc. together with a selection of cheeses and cold cuts, muesli, yoghurts and fruit. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel if you are looking for clean, comfortable accommodation with friendly staff.

The room was very nice and super clean. It was really very hot, with no effective a/c, and opening the window meant being disturbed every 15 minutes all night by the large clock in the tower next door.

Business Trip - Excellent Location
Hotel staff were amazing, I had booked this Hotel for business due to location and it didn't fail to hit the mark... I asked to book a taxi back to the airport and was told that the train station was only round the corner at a fraction of the cost. They then printed out all the instruction and talked me through the route. So easy, so relaxing! Saved a small fortune too!!! As for the food... What can I say, 10/10 full marks

J'ai séjourné pour la première fois dans cet hôtel pour affaires dans la région; très bien situé mais un peu bruyant en raison de la proximité de la rue. Chambre rénovées très bien aménagées

3 day weekend i Fehraltorf
Nice hotel. Facilities were good, and hotel has good standards. Breakfast is served in a café across the street, I didn´t try it because I had to leave early every morning to attend meetings. Only minor setback is that the smoking lounge has an open door when the room is cleaned, thus tobacco smoke can be sensed in the hallways at cleaning-hours. not a problem, but nice to know. I don´t smoke but wasn´t bothered. Church bells ringing early sunday morning (06:30)! Remember to close windows before sleeping. Bells are ringing for a full 5 minutes!

Hotel Hecht März 2018, Anlass: Alpaka-Show Uster
Anlässlich der nationalen Alpaka-Show in Uster waren wir schon das zweite Mal im Hecht zum Übernachten. Leider haben wir die Gastronomie noch nicht kennen gelernt, weil das Abendessen im Rahmen der Show stattfindet. Das Personal ist flexibel und man geniesst Vertrauen. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und modern eingerichtet. Dank guter Isolation, kann man auch nahe der Hauptstrasse gut schlafen. Es gibt kein Frühstück am Sonntag, aber in 100m Entfernung gibt es eine sehr gute Bäckerei/Konditorei mit Café.

Qualitativ gutes Landhotel. Für Pilger geeignet.
Schönes Landhotel. Überdurchschnittliche Gastronomie im Restaurant im Haus. Hotel und Restaurant sind getrennte Betriebe. Die gastfreundliche Betreuung im Hotel beschränkt sich auf das gute Morgenessen. Sonst fühlt man sich etwas allein gelassen. Das Haus liegt auch gut für Pilgergruppen, die sich auf dem Jakobsweg befinden und lieber etwas mehr Komfort haben als in Russikon

Schönes Hotel, wenn da nicht der Lärm wäre
Das Hotel ist innen schön ausgestattet und die Zimmer machen einen neuen Eindruck. Was uns allerdings extrem Missfallen hat ist der Lärm von der Straße. Wenn man im Zimmer das Fenster öffnet ( was im Sommer bei der Hitze nötig ist) ist es wahnsinnig laut. Zum Frühstück können wir nichts sagen da wir bei 20 CHF den Bäcker um die Ecke vorgezogen haben.
