"This property is a good, hilltop romantic get away. The rooms are nice. We had one with the ocean view and it was relaxing. The issues with the room was it smelled weird like slightly of pee. The shower took a long time to get hot. It’s not very eco friendly to let the water run. One of the jets in our tub didn’t work and the drain leaked so it didn’t hold the water long. "Hotel Camburi Praia is a very basic hotel in a small, country village 2hrs south-west of Sao Paulo along the coast. I stayed there for a work engagement. Camburi village is a typical of the area; rustic, weather-beaten, but welcoming enough. You should have some basic knowledge of portuguese though to get by. Hotel Camburi Praia is just off the main street running through the village and about 150m from the beach. It's a very basic hotel (my room 34 was a bit dated, but comfortable enough)....

"The hotel made sure to mention that English was available and the staff spoke it, but I only met one person who spoke English when I was checking out. That being said, I didn’t have too much trouble communicating. The view from the balcony is amazing and a 12/10. The hotel definitely seemed older than they let on with the pictures but otherwise a clean bed and towels. My issue is that the air conditioner did not work and two of the three lights in the room did not function. Difficult to shower...
