"I have been staying at this hotel for many years. It is a great location quiet because it’s not on the highway I used to want to keep this place a secret it was the best place for your money for those of us who are not rich. It’s not a resort. It’s just a place to sleep clean and safe however they are going to tear it down and probably build a very expensive place that I won’t be able to afford and that’s a shame. I’m not poor, but I’m not filthy rich either. The parking used to be free however the past few years I’ve had to pay $15 a night just to park my car but some filthy Rich guy, bought the marina from what I hear and they are destroying it so many of the great restaurants are already gone so they can tear it down so sad"

"The access to private beach restaurant. The service was exceptional from beach umbrella set up to restraunt service. The view from balcony overlooking pool and vista of shoreline was fantastic "

"What a great place! We’ve stayed here before and enjoyed it immensely this time as well. We had a nice room in the first building with the fantastic ocean view. We also were able to get out and enjoy the pool which was really nice. Michelle was very welcoming and professional and answered our questions. Her demeanor and calm but can do attitude was a deciding factor in my decision to join the Hilton Rewards program. We are already planning our next visit-go!"

"Beautiful and serene location. Charming boutique hotel with excellent service, food and magnificent view of the bay at Dana Point. It is within walking distance to shops and restaurants but to get down to the beach it’s better to drive. Whale watching was wonderful. "

"A pretty expensive place to stay but everything about it is wonderful - except for the cost. Great for special occasions. Just above Salt Creek Beach, a fun place to watch surfers. There is a shuttle to get you to and from the beach which is down a steep walkway. There is also a service that provides beach chairs and umbrellas for the beach. A nice touch. "
