"Charming house, safe neighborhood. My room was very clean and the bed was comfortable (which is a key factor for me). Very good location, just a block or so from the Cemeteries streetcar line, and 4 blocks from the City Park streetcar (Jazzfest). My only complaints were the A/C was a little noisy but it didn't bother me. It was a wall unit, so this is pretty much expected. Biggest complaint was the low water pressure in the shower. Rinsing off took a long time. Otherwise enjoyed my stay and will book it again for my next Jazzfest!"

"Location convenient by cab or uber to everything. Room was clean and staff very friendly. A low key type of vibe— not big chain , no extra fees etc. . No tv in room no frig and no maid service during our 4 day stay. We were able to take towels down to lobby for fresh ones. Recommended for a no frills out of the main action type of spot. We would stay there again"

"Great location, walked to jazz fest. We paid for on site parking which was very convenient. The pool was small but done well with outdoor "bar area" you could use that was shaded. Walking distance to French market and Frenchman st. Relaxed atmosphere. Only downside I could mention was little water pressure in bathroom sink - shower was great."

"Room was not up to par to what we seen on the pictures before hand. There was literally no furniture in the room just two beds. The tv didn’t work at all. There was a closet but no bar to even hang clothes on. There was no iron to iron clothes. There was no hot water the first two nights we were there. In the bathroom there was mold all over the walls. Toilet seat wouldn’t stay up and I had boys with me. This was by far the worst hotel we have ever stayed at in New Orleans I would definitely not recommend anyone staying there. You get what you pay for cheap and it is cheap for a reason."

"Everything was great , only negative thing is they did charge us $25 for parking, this was not disclosed by Expedia which in turn I assume the hotel doesn’t disclose this to Expedia? I think it should be disclosed, since it ads to the cost of the hotel, which is very important point at deciding which hotel to choose."

"I was in room 16. 4 bunks. Clean and extra towels in hallway. Laundry and showers are separate and down hall. Coffee and breakfast treats in kitchen. Need code to enter building. If you check in late they leave keys in envelope. Nice backyard porch area for smoking and they have a record player playing nice music. Wish I could have stayed longer. There’s nothing around the immediate neighborhood but it seemed safe. Mid-city is the name."
