The REAL Norwegian experience

This family-owned traditional Norwegian inn is a wonderful alternative to the dry corporate alternatives often experienced in travel. The owner and his wife are friendly and helpful, and the hotel is clean. Located up in the mountains overlooking the green valley below you will not have to look hard for a good view nor will it be difficult make lifelong memories here. Pilgrim and Norwegians frequent this hotel and they easy to get to know in this comfortable environment. If you are looking to experience the real Norway you have found it.

Flott historisk bygg

Flott gårdsbygning fra 1700-tallet med masse sjel og gamle detaljer. God frokost og flott usikt. Personalet var svært hyggelige og serviceinnstilte. Nydelig opparbeidet uteområde med utsiktspunkter, loungeområde og turstier. Vi var der på sommeren og den ligger rett ved pilgrimsleia.

Relatively rustic,, stay in rural setting

Checked inj about 9 PM. At that hour, there are no open restaurants in the area, and hte owner made us some sandwiches as we had not had dinner. Very nice couple own the establishment. Great view overlooking the valley.

Utrolig sjarmerende beliggenhet og hovedbygningen er vakker. Middagen var god også! Eneste aber var bittelite rom og med en babyseng der inne, var det knapt plass til å bevege seg rundt til toalettet.

Ro i sjela

Enkelt, men rolig og hyggelig sted.Litt leirskole følelse, men rene og ryddige rom. Flott utgangspunkt for aktiviteter i nærmiljø, som Hunderfossen eller Hafjell. Ved pent vær er det flott utsikt utover dalen, gir ro i sjela. De som driver stedet er serviceinnstilte , hyggelige og legger til rette på beste måte. Det serveres god husmannskost til alle måltider, nok mat👍 Utenom måltidene serveres det kaffe, øl og vin i hovedstua.
