Great location close to beach and Cavill Ave. In need of refurbishing, it was happening on 3 of the levels which also meant it was noisy with trades people. Not great that they make you have all the dishes washed and put away before checking out despite having a dishwasher which most places allow you to put on to wash as you walk out the door.

We loved the location and the staff. The room was nice.The only thing in the apartment we didn’t like was the shower screens need to be treated for mould and there was a sewage smell coming up from the waste pipes.

Great location with amazing beach views from each window on our 12th floor. Apartment was clean, facilities and grounds were lovely. Daily visit from parrots were a welcomed surprise. Walking distance to beach, restaurants, shops and tram. Would definitely stay again.

We found the location excellent. Staff were very polite & helpful. Smooth check-inn. All our details were ready at the desk for us to sign in. No waiting which is always great when travelling. Can not ask for better service.

Apartment was beautiful, we would come again. Next apartment was a bit noisy on the late afternoon, (appeared to be renovating) Would have liked salt & pepper sashays as well as tea & coffee. Still would recommend to others

The property was conveniently located with an ocean view from within the apartment and a large balcony. The apartment was spacious with all required amenities plus some. The bed was clean and comfortable. However had to open the doors to air out and get rid of the old building smell. The shower was small, old and bouncy under feet.

Pay more and avoid

The unit we were in needs a big clean and update. Very worn with a carpet mat in lounge that should have gone long ago. Blankets need a launder we just never felt clean in the unit. Great location and view but that’s where it stops.

Great views, large apartment with all the appliances and plates, cutlery and cooking bits and pieces to make a meal, washing machine for clothes, etc. TV is positioned oddly to where the couch is / not in line with couch so makes watching TV a little awkward. Overall the apartment is a little dated, cigarette burns / holes in carpet and a few of the blankets also have cigarette burn holes in them too. The apartments could be brought up to scratch with a small investment from the owners.

Spacious clean furniture comfy and clean fantastic views grest balcony only fault i left a couple of items in fridge by mistake and i did leave a couple of items on bench not washed and they charged me $78 for extra cleaning would have taken them 5ins im in the wrong job

Not what the brochure says

Definitely NOT what the brochure or reviews said. It’s an old run down building that smelt and uninviting. The apartment was worse with ants dirty socks under the lounge, dusty pictures, rusted old lamp shades that only one could be plugged in, cupboards were dirty and had left over things in them, the blankets smelt and the sheets didn’t even fit the double bed. The fridge smelt, there were no towels, tiles missing from veranda and outdoor chairs looked like they would break if sat on. Internet barely worked and neither did the clock. Definitely not what you pay for. If you can put all that aside it’s a great location a bit noisy but it’s Surfers.

Had great difficulty trying to communicate prior to arrival regarding a late check. I had to ring Expedia helpdesk twice and then it was unclear as to whether we were able to receive a late check in or not as the place is locked after 5 pm. We managed to get in okay? The apartment was filthy.!! The tiled floors, balconies and furniture, glass top tables etc were all dirty. After I complained they sent a cleaner in but it was just spray and wipe. The range hood was dripping with fat and grime and splash backs needed cleaning. We were disgusted and said they would not get a good review… Rececption said sorry but no offer to deep clean. This was a real disappointment as the apartment including the building, location, beach views, shops, transport and everything else was absolutely perfect. Such a shame and I have never had to give a review like this before makes me feel awful but has to be said!
