We had an exceptional experience. From the moment we set foot on the property we received a warm welcome & the service felt customized and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us . This hotel offers a great experience with its exceptional service. However, I wish there were more dining options available, as the nearby area seems to be quite inactive. Additionally, the garden could be improved by installing better lighting to make it usable at night.

I could not have asked for better service and accommodations (okay breakfast was okay- not great). Amazing spa and fitness facility. Amazing views of the garden. When it snowed it was like a winter wonderland. My friends and I were blown away by how incredibly nice the hotel was and how much nicer the employees were. This place is EXPENSIVE, but with every penny. I will be back.

The Best Four Seasons Hotel!

We have stayed in many Four Seasons Hotels before, Kyoto is one of the best two in overall experience, together with Bora Bora. The service here is by far the best! Looking forward to going back soon!

I have travelled all over and this was by far the most gorgeous, clean and friendly hotel I have been to. The staff went above and beyond with their service! I will definitely be coming again!

Excellent hospitality. Nice view from the room. However, the location is a bit far away from the Main Street. Overall, it is a superb experience and I will visit again next time.

outstanding resort. very hospitable and accommodating. the concierge was able to help us track down a missing item we forgot in Kotohira (Shikoku) and arranged to have it shipped within 48 hours back to us. Wonderful staff

It was very comfortable staying. Room was super clean and everything was well organized!! They prepared stepper for kid so that kids can easily wash their hand ! It was very sweet ! Will definitely come back to this hotel again. Breakfast was yummy also :)
