Property is a little dated. Our group was split in opposite parts of the property. The pathways are not well lit when walking at night from main lobby to cabins. Dinner in restaurant was excellent.

This resort is massively overpriced. Staff disinterested and overheard using foul language about guests when they thought they were alone. Accommodation is aged and poorly serviced. No wifi or telephone connectivity. No television. There are other options and I recommend you look into them if visiting Cradle Mountain

Hubby and I opted for a cabin stay, it was everything we were hoping for. Verandah overlooking trees, seeing different types of bird and listening to nature was the relaxing get away we needed. There are walking trails around the lodge where you can see watwr flows, wombats, wallabies and some snow along the water beds. We'd definitely stay here again.

Platypus visible from dining room, paddy melons,wallabies, bandicoots and wombats all seen in a two night stay. Beautiful walks. Loved the slow combustion fire in our room. Loved the lack of tv etc in rooms. A beautiful place.
