Very clean and comfortable...good relaxation areas...excellent buffet style breakfast. Bar prices a little expensive, but that's the same for all of Iceland. Happy hour between 3pm and 6pm helps a bit. I would definitely stay here again though.

This hotel is GREAT. We've stayed there two years in a row. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel has a lot of character. This hotel is right downtown right on the harbour and has no parking really. I contacted the hotel before I checked in and asked about the Parking and they said there was plenty nearby. No there’s not. There’s a lot of construction in the area and I found this to be a bit noisy. Hotel room rooms are a decent size and the beds or comfortable. I stayed at this hotel on my arrival to Reykjavík and then again before my departure. I need to change a night on my hotel stay on my departure and the hotel acted like this was going to be impossible and would not do it until I called Expedia who then had to send them a letter. All of this could have been done quite easily and without conflict on the phone. It really didn’t feel like customers mattered to them at that point.
