Staff were helpful. Room was clean in bed was comfortable had a view overlooking the water. The only downside was when the cruise ship would park there. It was a little noisy, but didn’t last long.

Great hotel next to ferry terminal

Excellent choice for anyone arriving in Alesund by ferry as the hotel is right next to the ferry terminal. Comfortable rooms and great breakfast. Very helpful staff. Easy walking distance to bus station.

We stayed at the hotel for one night. The hotel is in a very convenient location, restaurants, cafes, souvenirs - everything is nearby. Since it was very hot, the room was stuffy and there was no air conditioning. The breakfast was modest, but everything you need was there.

Our stay was terrific. Our family room was fairly spacious--the hotel put an extra bed in for one of our teenagers--and there was still room for chairs and a desk. The breakfast was wonderful!

Fantastic stay. Great hotel. Great price. Friendly staff. Unbelievable breakfast! Location was great, the only thing that would have made it perfect would have been onsite parking, but to be expected in a city I guess. Would definitely stay again.

Nice and friendly staff but hotel seriously need a makeover. Not worth the money.. When I was there they were short of staff in kitchen so unable to serve dinner in restaurant other than some kind of “snack-food”… Standard doesn’t align with the cost of rooms..

Good location for the Hurtigruten cruise but hotel facilities felt a bit outdated. Maybe we were also a little unlucky with the room - we found a broken glass in the room (though quickly changed by staff) and bathroom flooded during the shower. That said, staff were friendly and accommodating when we asked to wait in the lobby for a few hours after check-out. Also lovely sunset view from the hotel terrace.
