Great Location

We loved being in the Oltrano neighborhood. While it is home to the Pitti Palace and Boboli Garden, it felt more residential than the other parts of Florence we explored. We also loved being so close to the river. The apartment itself was ok and served its purpose.

Good location

Location of the apt is great, but the apt was very basic. Bathroom tub is extremely narrow, cannot even put a soap dish or a shampoo next to you or bent down. Walls are thin and you can hear everything from other apt. Also it was a lot of noise coming from the store beneath that was opening very early. Kitchen is very poorly equipped. Also no toiletries.

Lovely flat for 4 of us. Very convenient for walking into the city. Literally 2 minutes to the Ponte Vecchio. Great to be able to cook. Excellent grocery downstairs.

Location is five stars, but: - heavy black mold in the 2x2 shower was really bad, from the ground to the ceiling - entire apartment was filthy, from furniture to the walls, looks like a run down motel with dirty air conditioners. - after notifying the Host of the mold and health issue allergies, they sent someone next day to spray bleach on the black mold. They didn’t clean it, we just smelled all of our trip. - walls a thin enough to hear the water going down the drain pipes, you can hear everything. - The mattress was extremely poor quality — it had no cushioning at all, just exposed springs you could feel and even grab with your fingers. It sagged in the middle and the springs poked through, making it nearly impossible to sleep on. - to top it off, our bag was stolen. We had a summer hat in the green beach bag, the hat was removed from the bag and the bag was taken by who ever was in our apartment. This was our worst stay and did not do justice to our vacation, which was very upsetting. Wild part is Expedia said they can’t do anything about it, they only process payments and any refunds or cancellations after check in, you have to deal with the host. Expedia nor the host helped in anyway. We were very surprised.

La habitación está bien ubicada, pero se encuentra en mal estado, los colchones están muy viejos y cóncavos, la cama está rota por abajo y se sume el colchón, nos quedamos sin calefacción por más de 12 horas, sin poder bañarnos y dormir con frío y la persona que se supone nos iba a apoyar jamás nos contestó, hasta que logramos hablar con alguien más y aparte nos cobró $40 euros por entregarnos las llaves por el horario, lo cual es un costo excesivo, por ese precio pudimos habernos hospedado en otro lugar y otra noche más e inclusive el congelador tenía comida vieja. Fue una mala experiencia que tuvimos demerita el nombre de Expedia
