The property has this Retro look and feeling. One feels as if time has come back. The building is protected and some features cannot be changed. It was a great stay. I would have liked to see the protected outdoors patio being used with a coffee shop as it was in the past. What a pity, because its huge window allows one to see the sidewalk, the ocean and the traffic. Great to work, have a drink and relax.

An old splendor

This hotel was once the second best in Santos. In the last 80 years, I am a Santos native, it has lost its luster. The staff does a great job but the structure needs help.

Perfect!

We’d been staying in the Ibis which wasn’t good. Moved here and it’s great. Ok, from the outside it does need a coat of paint, as does some of the inside but our room was excellent, clean and well serviced. English is spoken in reception and nothings too much trouble. Breakfast is good and plentiful. All in all, wish we’d have stayed here for our whole stay.

Old and in need of renovations

Atlantico Hotel is located across the street from the beach in Santos. This hotel is old and in need of repairs. It could be renovated to look like a grand old hotel, but it's current condition is falling apart. Our room was clean, but again old. It was an acceptable place to spend the night. A free breakfast buffet was offered, and valet parking for a fee.

Fachada histórica, mas conforto inexistente O bom: A recepção é linda, preserva o piso e fotos do auge histórico do hotel. A localização no Gonzaga é excelente, de frente para o mar. O ruim: • Barulho insuportável: Ar-condicionado barulhento como uma "oficina mecânica" e ruído de maquinário externo a noite toda. Impossível dormir. • Café da manhã fraco: Pães velhos, frutas passadas e suco artificial (água com açúcar). • Falta de exclusividade: A vista é ótima, mas outros hotéis e flats vizinhos entregam o mesmo com muito mais conforto. Veredito: O glamour ficou no passado. Não recomendo a hospedagem até que resolvam a manutenção básica.
