Everything was great room clean, tasty breakfast, good location
It was AMAZING! 10/10, VIP Sauna was the best, we highly recommend renting if you have a party of 5+. Thank you to the overgenerous staff for all they did. We hope to visit here again!
Positive points- excellent location, clean, comfortable, competitive pricing, small but well equipped gym. Negative points- breakfast hall like a school canteen, tables crammed together, food poor. Swimming pool (and sauna) only open mornings till 10 am and evenings 5-9.30, receptionist could not explain why (we understand about the sauna). Broken light in room not fixed during our stay and took 2 days to get lamp.
We liked everything, nothing bad to say!
Perfect location, lovely staff everywhere, very clean, beautiful and spacious room, nice sauna and pool.
Highly recommended!
Special thanks to the lovely girls in the breakfast room who gave one of us a cake for his 50th bitrhday. That was much appreciated!
Great location - walking distance to the main railway station and Metro but a Very corporate hotel much more suited to business stays so not the best experience for us for a number of reasons.
Check in took ages and I was charged again for a pre-paid reservation which then took another visit and another 10 minutes to resolve (i think it was resolved - will be checking my CC as it was all a bit vague).
They don't clean the rooms until day 3 (you can ask we discovered) - that's OK but would have expected more from a hotel at this price point and * rating. Certainly replacing towels given there is no heated towel rail so using damp towels is not great. Also no replacement tea/coffee felt a bit penny pinching.
Breakfast was OK but I wouldn't say brilliant. For starters trying to get a seat in the Canteen like breakfast room was a challenge - too many tables for 6 and 8 which may work for midweek conferences but didn't feel right for a weekend leisure stay. Seemed to always be out of milk. You have to pay extra for anything except filter coffee. And closing time means closing time - everything is whisked away on the dot and you feel pressured to get out.
Our Superior Room was nice but a king bed was 2 singles and 2 duvets so again not quite what we had in mind for a romantic leisure trip.
It had been a long time since I had stayed here and I had a wonderful time.
The room was clean, the breakfast was delicious and the view from the restaurant was fantastic, and the front desk staff were friendly.
The price is higher than the hotels in the area, but I am glad I chose this hotel.
Hotel is lovely and great location. Room was very warm at night and pillows not comfy.
No housekeeping service for the 3 nights we were there which was disappointing and we had to ask for fresh towels.
Very limited opening times for swimming pool and water was too cold
Parking space is tricky and narrow for bigger vehicles. Room was tidy and had the necessities. The shower pressure could have been better, there was some dust in the coffee cups. Breakfast was lovely and you have a wide choice of restaurants near by.
