The place was nice and staff were nice too but the resort was shutting down for renovations so you could feel that and a lot the restaurants were closed or unavailable. The beach was closed down.

The resort was very clean and well-maintained, and evening entertainment was enjoyable. Food was decent and no one got sick, but options were very limited and definitely not “premium.”
Check-in was slow and our first two rooms had issues (one door wouldn’t shut, the other had dirty sheets). While the hotel did offer an upgrade, we were too exhausted from traveling since 3:30 AM PCT to move again. Concierge promised Bali beds for a week but only delivered one day, and the process was frustrating.
At the pool, service was hit or miss. One staff member, Johnny, was rude when we asked for beach umbrella, were told to help ourselves to one, we did so and then were yelled at; which left a bad impression.
The biggest disappointment was the so-called Premier Class. It added no real perks—no special alcohol, no extra benefits—and premium drinks cost $25 each, something never mentioned at booking.
Overall, the hotel is more of a solid 4-star. It was clean, safe, and serviceable, but not worth paying extra for Premier.
