The hotel was great! Amazing location, you will be staying a crosse the street from the night market. Room was very clean, staff was very helpful, and the food was great too

I recently stayed at the E&O Penang and overall had a very good experience. The room itself was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well kept. I needed a few extra items like towels, and although I had to ask, the staff responded quickly and efficiently, which I really appreciated. One area that could be improved is the food offering. The room service menu is quite limited, especially late at night. Arriving back at the hotel around 11:30pm to find the bars and restaurants closed left very few options, which was a little disappointing for a hotel of this standard. Some of the common areas, particularly around the pool and outdoor spaces, are starting to show their age and could benefit from a refresh. It would also be great to see more variety in the food choices across the hotel, especially more local Asian options. Overall, though, it’s a solid 4 out of 5 stay — classic, comfortable, and with excellent service when needed. With a few updates and broader dining options, it could easily reach a 5.

Breakfast was too expensive, so we did not take it. It should be included in the room charge, not extra!

We loved our stay at Bel Marina. The room was absolutely beautiful and very clean and modern. The grounds of the resort we stunning and right on the river. The food and staff were also amazing - the staff really went above and beyond.

Friendly and very helpful staff, even helping over the phone to try to correct a wayward taxi driver. Great room in a beautiful setting. Breakfast was only about $3 in the attached restaurant.
