Asia Historic Holidays

An old building with some of its history displayed around the complex. The rooms are a good size with a comfortable bed, good shower, small bar fridge, and a filtered water tap. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Short walk from the ferry terminal and to main areas of old Georgetown.

The most perfect place to stay. Loved the location, the food, the staff, rooms, pool and tours.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff. Go for the opera wing and the lounge is a great addition. The beds are super comfortable and the shower wonderful. Best location in Hanoi. Highly recommend this hotel. Breakfast is also excellent with lots of choices and high quality.

This hotel was everything we wanted it to be. Great location, friendly staff, comfortable bed, clean, and at a good price.

We agreed abd said that cleanup would occur following the departure of the guests. We also turned down the music to nonexistent. At 8:15, the night manager arrived and said the duty managed had changed her mind, we could have the party until 11:30 pm. At 10:15, the night manager returned and informed us he was calling the police, a guest had complained, and we must leave immediately except for the name on the reservation. We expressed astonishment and agreed, but informed him that we disagreed and would need fifteen minutes to pivot and figure out where to continue the party. One of the persons in our group found a new venue, food and beverages were organized and we left the Sofitel without a demonstration or a ruckus within twenty minutes. The next morning, two persons cleaned the suite, picked up the extra food and beverage and the when we departed at checkout, the suite looked better than when we checked in….
