"The property was quiet and peaceful, and the staff I had contact with could not have been more helpful and pleasant. My only complaint with my room (room 003) was that the reading lamp alongside the bed did not work, the handbasin in the bathroom took a LONG time to drain, and the coffee cups in the kitchen cupboard needed a good clean. (One is now very clean - I washed it) Housekeeping should check these every day."

"Absolutely beautiful well maintained property! We stayed 3 days out of 6 at this location and we should have stayed here the whole time. Exquisite grounds and comfortable bungalows with every home amenity you need. The host was very hospitable and a joy. You will be treated at a very high standard and feel like you are on vacation. I cannot recommend this place enough. Dont bother booking anywhere else."

"Excellent access to some of the best diving in the world. Located right on the water and Tumakahoa pass, this location is right on shark alley and some of the most beautiful coral I’ve seen. The property is rustic but over the water and right on the reef. It is a lot like camping. Cold showers, no locking doors, damp bedding when it rains and few amenities are all part of the experience. The boat ride from Fakarava north is a little more than an hour and can really only be done in the daytime....

"We stayed in a very nice bungalow for 5 days in February. It was in 80 degrees and humid. It took awhile to cool off the room in the evenings. The hostess spoke English and was very helpful in signing us up for excursions, making recommendations for restaurants etc and renting a car. We were picked up at the lodge for excursions. "We gave this 5 stars because the location and amenities fit us perfectly and it was exactly what we needed. We stayed for 4 glorious restful days. Victor, our host, was very careful about giving us our privacy yet extremely helpful with setting up with anything we needed. Henrique, his helper was also very helpful. "Très bon acceuil. Ambiance sympathique, dépaysante et très "locale". Situation sur le motu très typique. Quelques problèmes : - De l'eau courante que 2 fois 1/2 heure par jour, le matin et le soir - pas d'électricité entre 22h et 6h. - état du bungalow assez délabré (huisserie, murs, ...)"

"Très bon séjour ! Guillaume est très serviable et fait tout pour que notre séjour soit agréable. Restaurant du gîte très bon, avec de bons plats et petits-déjeuners. Je recommande ce gîte où j’y ai passé un très agréable séjour, avec Guillaume qui me donnait des conseils sur quoi faire à lifou. De plus, le gîte est très bien situé. J’y reviendrai avec plaisir. "

"No wifi, broken ceiling fan, broken refrigerator, but inept staff"

"Le personel est incompétent, la piscine ne donne absolument pas envie de se baigner vue son état ( carrelage cassé ), le wifi ne fonctionne qu’une fois sur 2. Faites vraiment attention, le personnel vous assure que vous êtes en demi pension ( pour ma part ils me l’ont certifié 3 fois) pour vous dire à la fin de votre séjour que finalement vous ne l’êtes pas et tout vous facturer. Je ne conseil absolument pas cet établissement, fuyez !!!!"

"The people at the pension were very kind. Great location and views. Simple, but clean and the Wifi worked well. There was a nice breakfast each morning from the patio with a lovely view of the bay. It is just 2 "blocks" up the hill from the main road where you can walk to the few sites, restaurants/roulottes, and stores in the town. The very farthest side of the bay is about 20 mins walking.
