"Amazing hotel with the friendliest staff. So beautiful, lots of things to do on the resort itself. We enjoyed massages, parasailing, and swimming. Also great if you have kids and babies, our wee one loved it. We woke up to monkeys on our balcony and that was such a fun experience. "Very bad experience. More like a motel in a lost island. Small boat to get in and out of island. Nice staff but dressed like young street people. Very few understood english. Rooms had bugs. Food suspicious (same person can be waiter, cook, room cleaner, baggage handler and boat operator). We booked for 5 nights at Sun Yi but we got there, we were in a less-quality hotel on island with no Internet (Rain Forest) because Sun Yi was closed due to storm damage 10 days before (we were not notified)....

"An excellent place to stay. Service staff were excellent and always helpful. My favourite dessert was the 3 flavours sorbet. Room service and kitchen are closed after 11pm though. Grab delivery is a great option as many eateries are on them. Swimming pool is decent and the gym while small has a decent view from a height. About 200 meters down the road there is an excellent dimsum shop near a red rock hotel. Do try it. Overall a good place to stay as the staff is excellwnt and the amenities are above average and well maintained. "
