"Would highly recommend. Rustic room with extra sitting room, private balcony overlooking the river and palace of the Popes. Enjoyed walking around the old village, just down the hill from Maison Orisini. Host was wonderful providing maps and a tasty breakfast. We stayed 4 nights. No.5 Bus close by into main town of Avignon or 35mins walk."

The best word to describe La Verriere is 'impeccable'. It is located at the Chene Bleu winery at a 9th centiry priory. "What a great find for us! This place is so charming! We wish we had booked for longer. The parking is a little tight as European cars have gotten larger over time, but it’s safe and gated. The staff was extremely welcoming and was able to get us a dinner reservation at the last minute. We weren’t here long, but the pool looked inviting and every room was clean and comfortable. They make their own face and body scrubs, which feel amazing! Definitely will be back!"

"This is an absolutely amazing property and Vanessa was a lovely host. It is situated on a vineyard, surrounded by mountain views and beautiful landscaping. "I loved the location, right across the street from the old city. There was a grocery store next door, very convenient. The property seems to be student residences as well as hotel and has laundry facilities, safe bicycle storage, recycling, an exercise room and breakfast for an extra fee, which we didn't do. The bed was comfy, the kitchen was fine, the shower was great, the room was very spacious, but with a characterless, unadorned feel. Still, over all, good value. "
