"Hotel was so convenient-across the street from Kyoto Station and walking distance from many shopping and dining options. Kyoto Aquarium was also a quick walk. The rooms were spacious and clean. The beds and pillows were top notch-everyone in my family thought so and we usually disagree on bedding and pillows. The buffet breakfast was amazing, including a full western and traditional Japanese offering. Well worth upgrading room package to enjoy the buffet every day. "

The room could be improved with more desk space as the TV takes most of the table space and the room is very small. Bed was firm, blinds let a lot of natural light in. The only downside was that the train station was a bit of a walk in a crowded area in the afternoon with luggage. It was fine for morning departure. "The location is great! Very central yet not too crowded with people the min you walk out. Many good restaurants nearby and 2 min walk to the subway. Hotel staff very helpful and professional. Room is a good size (26m) but narrow and long. A bit hard to layout the luggages. Bath room counter height is low and not enough counter space. Despite these minor flows still a very comfortable place."
