The location was perfect, right across from Kyoto train station for easy access to JR trains and buses.The property is surrounded with restaurants for dining and malls for shopping. Our room was very spacious facing the train station where we could see the Shinkansen come and go, however, we couldn't hear any noise from the trains passing by.

The location is perfect, Kyoto station just a few minutes walk (perfect for Shinkansen) and you have Aeon mall beside it (cheaper and better food options than convenience stores. The staff were helpful (they guided me using the kiosk for check in, but had trouble so I was immediately attended to by the front desk. The room is clean, water refilling station and ice dispenser...I'd recommend this to anyone visiting Kyoto.
