Villas of Grand Cypress Golf Resort is located in Orlando, one mile from Walt Disney World® Resort and seven miles from the convention center. Panoramic 18 holes golf-course views accompany dinner at the Nine18. The Clubhouse Bar and Grill is a popular post-golf gathering spot. The resort has 10,480 square feet of meeting space. Wireless Internet access is available in the lobby and guest villas. Free self and valet parking only during stay.
The Villas share Cypress Resort with the Hyatt Regency, and guests enjoy use of the half-acre freeform pool, 2 spa tubs, and children's pools. Other amenities include a fitness center, 10 outdoor tennis courts, a full-service salon and in-room massage services. Babysitting and children supervised activities are available. Limo or town car service available.
Rooms
Villas of Grand Cypress Golf Resort features 146 one- and two-story villas and club suites with Mediterranean decor. Villas and suites have separate living areas; French doors lead to furnished patios. Accommodations provide flat-panel HDTVs.
Conveniences include premium bedding, wet bars, minibars, wireless Internet access, and laptop-sized safes. Bathrooms feature separate tubs, glass-enclosed showers, granite-topped vanities, scales, phones, and bathrobes. Turndown service is provided.

Nine18 - Overlooking the North-South golf course, this elegant restaurant serves Black Angus steaks, seafood, and hand-made pasta together with an extensive wine selection. Dinner only.
The Club - Casual sports bar and restaurant overlooking golf course. Menu favorites include seafood, sautéed breast of chicken, and pan-seared New York strip steak. Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner.
Hemingway's - Set high atop the grotto overlooking the half-acre freeform pool at the Hyatt, this Key West–style restaurant specializes in fresh seafood. Dinner only.
Cascade Restaurant - A 35-foot bronze mermaid sculpture with waterfall is the focal point of the Hyatt's Cascade Restaurant. Menu includes soups, salads, seafood, steak, and chicken. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Trellises - Tropical-themed lounge in the Hyatt lobby serves Starbucks coffee each morning and cocktails, wine, and beer later in the day. Open early to late morning, then late afternoon to late evening
On the Rocks - Tucked away under the grotto, this Hyatt poolside bar serves cocktails, beer, wine, soft drinks, salads, and sandwiches. Open late morning to dusk.
Poolside bar - Cocktails, beer, wine, and light fare served poolside. Open mid-morning to dusk.
La Coquina - Exhibition kitchen. Located at Hyatt Regency. Dinner Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Sunday brunch.
Recreation
Golf: Four Jack Nicklaus Signature Design courses include an 18-hole course and three par 36 nine-hole courses. PGA-level instruction is available at the 21-acre Grand Cypress Golf Academy, named one of the Top 25 Golf Schools by Golf Magazine. Golf carts are equipped with GPS technology that illustrates each hole, indicates yardage to the pin and key hazards, keeps score, and offers playing tips.
Tennis: The Grand Cypress Racquet Club has eight Har-Tru and four Deco Turf II tennis courts, daily clinics, and private and semi-private lessons with a tennis pro (surcharge).
Swimming, boating, jogging: A large freeform pool is paired with a spa tub. Jogging/walking paths and an Audubon Walk wind through the scenic grounds. Bikes can be rented. Villa guests enjoy access to the Hyatt's half-acre freeform pool with 12 waterfalls, two waterslides, a children's pool, spa tubs, and an expansive sundeck overlooking the white-sand beach and Lake Windsong; sailboats, paddleboats, and canoes are available for rent.
Children's activities: Camp Hyatt provides supervised activities for children 5–12 (surcharge).

“Club suites option is not bad for a room”
This is a big golf resort with suites/villas units looking the golf course ,I took the club suite option and it was lake and golf course view and it was amazing vista. There was no fridge or microwave in the room and I didnt ask for one. Room and bathroom are spacious and clean. The stuff was freidnly and willing to help.
“Peaceful and Relaxing”
It was truely relaxing and peaceful there. The staff was very attentive and provided any request we had. It was a 4.5 star and overall the best I've stayed at.

“A hidden gem!”
Our reservation was through a 3rd party company and they messed it up. When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk manager had us moved from 3-separate rooms in 3-different areas into a 3-bedroom villa for the same price. We will absolutely be back!

“Quiet and peaceful”
Quiet area, did not really see other people. Room was spacious, much more than expected. There was a nice view of a pond from the back porch. Pool nearby. Check-in, check-out staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

“Wonderful”
All I can say is good about this place. Two turns to Downtown Disney but the quite and seculsion of the golf course. Everything was beautiful and well appointed. Decor is a little 80's but well maintained and clean.

“Orlando's Best Kept Secret”
We enjoyed this location so much last year that we booked it again this year and again we were NOT disappointed. The accomodations were terriffic. The grounds and buildings are gorgeous. The accomodations are excellently maintained and the service is second to none. If you are into golf then this is your place. Also you're 1.5 miles from Downtown Disney if that's your interest but really you are really 15 minutes from just about everything. As the Villas is part of the Hyatt hotel just up the road, you also get to share in all the hotel facilities at no additional cost. This was our 2nd stay in 2 years and we intend to make it a third next May.
