Three Star Hotels in Bara

"Stayed 5 nights in April. Arrived late by Oresundståg train from CPH airport on a Sunday night so was pleased to see the hotel just across the street and canal from Centralstation. Top marks for location! I had a small double room on the 5th floor at the back, with "views" of the hotel's inner courtyard at the back, hence v quiet. Room was fine for me - could be a struggle for couples as wet/bathroom space especially limited. No wardrobes or drawers for storage, just a clothes rail with approx 6 hangers, which was fine for a short break. Multi-channel TV. One bedside cabinet and a few sockets for charging. Good breakfast daily (6.30-9.30 weekdays) in a nice light Ikea-esque room on the 2nd floor. Usual continental fare, with some cereals and milk, a coffee machine, concentrated juices (not fresh, unfortunately), and bread/rolls with cheese and ham, boiled eggs, liver patê, toms, cucumber and gherkins. Tiny croissants and jam. Fine to set you up for a day's walk etc. The bread counter could be extended, though, as it can be very busy with queues some mornings... Another big plus was the fact you could help yourself to the coffee machine in the breakfast room all day as no kettle in your room. As I said, location is key - 5 minutes walk to touristy Lilla Torg with coffee shops, bars and restaurants, beautiful church of Sankt Petri Kyrka, plus a nearby Lidl for handy provisions. 10 mins walk to some wonderful parks (Kungsparken) and a lovely peaceful cemetery. The absence of an espresso machine was noted, with only filter coffee available - a minor hiccup for those who cherish a robust morning brew. Positioned conveniently, a brisk 15-minute walk from the central train station and a mere 20 minutes from Malmö's allurements, the hotel's location was more than satisfactory. The efficiency of service at Park Inn by Radisson Malmö was evident during check-in and check-out - smooth, swift, and hassle-free. Additionally, the provision of complimentary luggage storage and reception-area coffee was a thoughtful gesture. When it comes to pricing, the balance struck between cost and comfort was fair. The hotel’s design exudes a contemporary charm, contributing to the overall pleasing ambiance. While my interaction with the hotel management was limited, and the transport services offered were not utilized, these elements did not diminish the quality of my stay. "I had a fitness race at the weekend and this hotel was perfectly located. Literally seconds from the station and minutes from the venue. The hotel was extremely clean and the staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast was fantastic with a wide variety and dinner was lovely. If I went back to Malmo I’d have no hesitation booking this again. "
