"We wanted a hotel in walking distance of the train station and this hotel fit the bill. We’d read good reviews about it and found them to be accurate. Great, quick check in, perfect room with a balcony on the second floor. Clean, spacious, with an A/C that worked perfectly when needed. Big shower, lots of hot water and pressure. Breakfast on all four mornings was terrific. They make you a cappuccino if you want, and eggs to order. Otherwise, they have a full range of items from hard cooked...

"Wonderful hotel in regards to cleanliness, staff. Spectacular views but this location doesn’t work unless you have a car. 25 minutes walking on a narrow, curvy road. Breakfast is great and included. We stayed in April so is a low season for this area. I wish they would offer a bar and at least some antipasto since there are no restaurants near by. Other than that is a wonderful place. Managment helpful and cordial. "

"We loved our stay here in this busy little pocket of Amalfi. We were there mid-April and although day time was bustling with ppl, evening was much quieter. Staff were very attentive when called upon and morning breakfasts in the restaurant upstairs with the view of the beautiful cathedral was wonderful. Unfortunately, our room was right under the restaurant so was quite alot of noise, it didn't keep us from getting a good nights sleep."

"We loved our stay at Hotel Britannia. The hotel was very clean and had everything we needed and more. The staff were excellent. If we had any questions about the area and where to go, they were happy to help and provide recommendations. They made our stay comfortable! The location was great as well as the hotel was directly in front of a bus stop to get to the town centre of Sorrento. There were no complaints. Would certainly stay here again if we were to come back to Sorrento! "

"Super good hotel. Just in the heart of Amalfi. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast on the rooftop. Hotel provides beach towels to use on the free beach, so there is no need to rent chairs or buy towels in the store, and then carry them around. Hotel is just on the main street with all the restaurants and shops."

Clean, comfortable and my room (526 on the 5th floor) had a good view onto the Bay of Naples and of Vesuvius in the distance. Staff were excellent, very helpful when my airline cancelled my flight home and I had to stay an extra night. "
