"I would highly recommend this ryokan. They were able to provide me with vegan meals, made for myself only. The owners and all staff were friendly and kind. The staff serving out meals were so bubbly and happy! There are many different onsen in this ryokan too. A sauna onsen, a foot onsen, a women's only onsen, a mixed onsen and 3 private onsen (2 of which are on the 4th floor so very nice to watch the sunrise/sunset). Another outdoor onsen away from the property could be used for an extra fee....

"Excellent service. Free shuttle to and from Tendo station. They also managed to keep and deliver our luggage to station after check out. There is a tax free shop and supermarket within walkable distance. Dinner and breakfast is good and fulfilling. Onsen is relaxing."

"綺麗なホテルで、朝のバイキングも夕食(和食懐石)も美味しかったです。特に朝の海老の串焼きは、大きくてぷりぷりでとても美味しかったです。露天風呂が無いのが残念でしたが、脱衣室が混み合うこともなく、脱衣室に鍵付きの引き出しがあるのも便利でした。全体的にゆったりとした造りで、空間に余裕があるところも良かったです。古川の実家の法事に出席するために泊まりましたが、アクティビティもあるようなので、今度は家族で楽しむ為に訪れたいです。"

"We stayed for a couple of nights at this onsen and would highly recommend. It was easy to get to from the local train station. We arrived from Sendai and took a day trip towards Yamagata and on both occasions a shuttle bus was waiting to take us to the hotel without advanced booking. The staff at reception spoke some English and with our limited Japanese we were checked in quite quickly. "I really adored this place, and it was very conveniently located for day trips into Ginzan Onsen. The room was clean and affordable and in exchange for environmentally clean services we were given free beer or chuhai and breakfast vouchers. The hotel also has a nice public bath which worked wonders after a day walking in the cold. And honestly the chains sheep mascot was really cute; this place was just very charming for a place so far out in Japan. I will stay here the next chance I get."
