"Very nice resort. Clean and big rooms. Breakfast and dinner buffet with a lot variety of food. During our stay was my wife birthday and the management of the resort surprise us with a cake and a bottle of sparkling wine. The resort is in good central location. "This was an all inclusive hotel that served up great food and had very good services. We could easily visit again and have a lovely holiday. This was early May which meant that the hotel was not overly crowded so I cannot say what it would be like in high summer."

"The property was disappointed, it was not what I expected. The food was not as great, choices were limited, there was more pork than I wanted. The mattress was thin and old, I did not get any good sleep. On good note the property was clean and the staff was great."

"Incredible resort. From the moment we arrived, the property was breathtaking and very well maintained. It has multiple pools and dining options. The food was very good with lots of options. Reservations for the restaurants opened at midnight and you had to book quickly or you won’t get a spot. The resort offered many activities throughout the day and night. The gym was well equipped. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. When the star gazing was cancelled, they put out the telescope just for us. Thank you Paulo and David! Ask for anything and you shall receive. This resort takes luxury to another level. It’s far from Funchal and not much around the property other than some beautiful hiking trails. However, the resort offered rental cars right on spot. The front desk arranged everything for us. We rented a car for two days and so glad we did. Highly recommend staying at this resort. Rooms are very clean and spacious with gorgeous views. Property is on a large hill with lots of steps so could be different for those with mobility issues. Would stay here again and again. "
