"Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. During our stay there was a film set in place for Father Brown and a restriction at the end of the road. It didn’t take away from our stay, but was glad of the premier inn parking just a 100m away. "Hotel states it has on site parking which is true, however, only offers 6 parking spaces and therefore you will need to park in the multi storey car park which costs £17.50 per day. Breakfast options are very limited, I would recommend avoiding breakfast in the hotel and getting something in Birmingham City Centre. Advertising that they have starbucks on site is a bit of a stretch, they have a starbucks coffee machine therefore are only able to offer hot drinks. Overall, the hotel was disappointing, I will avoid this hotel when I have to travel to Birmingham in future."

"The outside of the building and lobby look nice. The room was decent enough but the bathroom let the room down though. Having to turn and sit at an angle cause the towel rack is in front of toilet wasn’t great plus the fan leg was broken causing the fan to keep falling over so gave up using it. Also they do not have an airport shuttle and if you order a taxi you need to meet it away from the property or you’ll get a £5 fee. But my biggest issue is with the person responding to online messages and their lack of customer service skills. Won’t stay here again, too many other better hotels with friendlier staff."
