Basic.
Basic hotel. Nothing particularly thrilling or exciting. Provides the need to rest and shower. Limited television channels. So bring a book.
Basic for a decent price if you are able to book ahead of time. Local rates are competitive.
The food service was awful! I had to wait over a half hour before I decided to give up. Not worth the time or effort!

I'm so sorry for that Ma'am/Sir, The shuttle was free 3months ago but now it is because the management has changed. If you want to use the Shuttle Car it is already charged.
The hotel is located in the red district of Balibago. The property has no parking for the guests. You will have to park on the street. If you are family or a couple, I do not recommend this hotel.

1st room was rundown,street noise and old ir conditioner noisy. Had to pay for upgrade was a bit better . In ammentities bad.

The Hotel was a cute little place for a quick two night stopover. The only real issue I had with the hotel is the restaurant did not accept credit cards. I flew in late and did not go and have money exchanged. I went to the restaurant and had a small meal only to find out afterwards that credit cards weren't accepted. I will say that the staff and manager were very friendly and did convert my money for me and accept cash.

Not worth your money. Rooms given to us all had issues
Room 1 (2nd floor) when we got inside the room, noticed that there were lots of mosquitos inside, upon checking, window was open! Had no choice but to ask for mosquito spray. Pillow covers had stains.
Room 2 (3rd floor) rain shower was broken. CR was flooding.
Room 3 so far was pretty okay.
Hope you can improve customer service. Pool was okay, restaurants upstairs only accept cash and no room charge. We had a misunderstanding with the staff cause we thought that food ordered will be billed to our rooms but when we were billing out, they said they only accept cash.
The only thing we loved was that they had car service going to the festival near sm clark. 👍👍👍 Kudos to thr kuya drivers.

If you are looking for just quick/cheap stay this is ok in a better location around the street and not too noisy. However, expect the room can be disappointing. Dirty room, plumbing issues, I requested non smoking but the room smell smokey, cockroaches, filthy, issues with their booking and staff aren’t friendly and uptight(not all).
Rooftop ambience and restaurant was great and service was good.
Overall stay 1/5.

Breakfast is simple, but staff could not match the simplicity of the breakfast. Breakfast quality and variety should be reviewed. Staff not well versed in service quality and product knowledge. Value for money is terrible. Room amenities, don't even have bedroom slippers, bathroom toilet seat dislodge, housekeeping not attentive to details, No coffee and tea making facilities. Fridge not working.
I had no tv no netflex asked for this to be fixed day one for 4 days breakfast was included I had for one breakfast day one only day hot water was cold was very disappointed with penthouse suite
Just the pool is appreciated and receptionist are friendly, breakfast not bad we’re not too fuzzy on the food, but cleanliness very poor,first thing is the kettle is dirty and led is broken not safe to use, the bathroom have leaks and water in the floor is just everywhere,the bed was dirty and also under the bed dust is very thick and even the floor when you walk without sleepers it’s so dusty you can see it stick on your feet when you walk in the room, The bath also is blocked and the worst is in our second night we didn’t sleep as very noisy outside and you can hear it from the room we’re in 3rd floor. 😞 but thank you anyway I like the staff are friendly.. 🙂
All of the hotel staff were excellent,with great service,the negative things I found were the inconsiderate people that were staying there, examples,coming home all hours of the morning,very noisy & basics haven’t no respect for all the other people sleeping,also in the morning doors slamming & waking people up, Di for the 5 days I stayed there I really didn’t sleep much!
Took longer than usual to check in, (check is after two, room wasn’t ready until after 4) once we got to the room no power, yes now power, told for 5 hours that it was as being worked on, finally moved to a different room, now no cable, and super super slow internet) breakfast included, but so cheap not even coffee or water included. Basically great friendly staff, new building but obviously really poor management, no soap, one towel...had better amenities at a hostel...again great staff but obviously BAD Management !!!
Had problem with air conditioner leaking. Not enough toilet paper but otherwise very nice stay.

the staff were friendly. the restaurant waitress and the cook were very friendly. but the breakfast meal you purchase for $4 is not worth it.there are 4 meals you can choose from the purchased breakfast menu. the day i went to get breakfast, they had no bacon and no jam. didnt ask for anything else.
Hotel is easy 5 minute walk to the strip. We stayed at Appollonia for the non-smoking room. Staff were courteous. The room is basic, but has a HD satellite TV. Won't stay again for a couple of reasons. First, the room had a hot water pot, but no mugs/cups for hot water. Door had card lock with integrated inside deadbolt that could be opened with master card, but no independent inside chain or security latch. The front desk offered us a wake-up call, but never called. Also, apparently I selected a room for two, but with 1 breakfast. Why would anyone want a room for two and one breakfast? We took the breakfast "to-go", gave it to our trike driver, and then ate at Margarita Station (recommended)

Checked in at night and person checking us in was so cold. It felt like it was an inconvience for her to do her job.
Feels unsafe at this hotel. Loud and roudy hotel patrons. People working here don't seem to be professional or helpful. This hotel needs the owner to get a grip of their team.

Night Front office staff are more concerned with facebook and sending messages than attending to guests.
Common decency is missing from the night front office staff.
Front office ladies can be overheard searching for other jobs and discussing pay rates openly in front of customers - it just shows how much they value their current job, henceforth the horrible attitude to us.
Room staff are respectful and efficient.
Would we stay at the Apollonia again? No - it is just too seedy and reminds me of an 1970's hotel with a semi fresh lick of paint applied to mask it's past.
Stay away from the Apollonia. Pay that extra few dollars and go to another hotel - you will thank me for this advice
I previously rated Apollonia Royale but had to rate again. Had a great stay there! Staff were friendly as always. Room was clean, very functional, comfortable and quiet. Located conveniently near mall and walking street but far enough away to where it was quiet. The complimentary water bottles were really nice. The staff are the main reason I will always stay there. Very friendly and helpful. I was especially appreciative of Clarise (front desk) who helped me so much during my stay. From shopping advice, a friendly smile and greeting to making transportation arrangements for me. She truly represents what hospitality should be like.
