We loved our room with a washer/dryer huge bed (2 XL twins together), we also had a decent size fridge. The bathroom setup was interesting, it was a shower room w tub, behind a door a small sink outside and toilet was in its own small room. the hot chocolate in lobby made us feel at home, we loved that it was located in an alley off the Main Street. Biggest room we stayed in while visiting Japan! Only a few blocks from the main gates of Kyoto station.

VERY conveniently located - less than 5 minutes from Kyoto station. The washer and dryer in the room was a huge plus, and compared to other Japanese hotels, the size of the room was slightly more spacious. Cleanliness could be a little better - we found a pair of socks from previous travelers hidden behind 2 stools. But otherwise, ample amenities were provided and the room was neat and comfortable.

Best Hotel I stayed in in Japan (and I stayed in a lot). Close to Kyoto station but quiet (in an alleyway) with Isakayas, a great masseuse and kombi’s near by.

Really nice boutique hotel. Room was very spacious and the in-room washer/dryer combo was a great amenity. Hotel staff was also super friendly and quite helpful with general information. A staff member also made the time to show us how to use the washer/dryer. Highly recommend this hotel for the excellent staff, spacious room, and short walk to Kyoto Station. Would stay here again!

I had an amazing stay at eph KYOTO. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well designed, and the amenities were thoughtful and practical. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. I enjoyed my stay so much that I’m already planning to return. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kyoto.

Very nice room with washer, microwave. Very nice and spacious shower, comfortable beds. Super good location, close to Kyoto station and with lots of greats restaurants close by. Staff is also super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is on the simpler side.

Wonderful little gem of a hotel!

Wonderful hotel! Staff were so nice and helpful. Location was perfect—short walk from main train station but down an alley so incredibly quiet. Great breakfast! Highly recommend this hotel!!
