"Walking distance to shopping and old town sites. We did a walking tour and boat trip close. Breakfast was good. Walked to train station for our trip to Porto. Staff were friendly with good advice on restaurants and directions. "

"A comfortable hotel (despite the absence of plate and cuttlery for breakfast on the first morning. It was obvious the ladies serving breakfast were rushed off their feet and had run out of plates, which, at 8.30 AM should not really happen so maybe the hotel needs to look at providing the staff with what they need, including possibly another member of staff to help!) The room and bed was very comfortable,, the bathroom was clean, and the hotel location was brilliant, literally around the corner from the pedestrian shopping area, and within a 5 to 10min walk from the marina and the old town. Would highly recommend for a quick escape / city break!"
